The shoulder pad on his right arm seems just off - lower it to the shoulder height level because at the moment it looks like its extruding out of his neck upwards, the golden strap on his back seems a bit flat, I'd suggest you try adding more volume to it and make the tiny hand a bit bigger, it just looks a bit silly in my opinion.
Other than that I love the background colors and the red hair, pretty cool

    Wow, thanks for the critique.

Well yeah I noticed that right now, when we think about the height it becomes annoying :P I will fix it or mby apply that instruction on my next illustration.

The hands are so small I've got cons about hands and feet The golden strap: Yeah I tried to give it volume but when you try it the yellow has very very little color selection I don't know about it...

Thanks alot for you critique I'd like to hear from you over PM for some tips

    Kind Regards

    First off, great job.

I really like what you did with the hair. The anatomy needs a bit of work but it's really not bad. Taking into account that some artist actually have a hard time pulling out this pose. My main concern is that you need to keep the line art Because you can notice that the edges look really sharp, I think keeping the lineart will make it look smooth and will also make the character stand out. Excellent usage of the chalk brush! Keep it up!

P.S. I know that the professionals in the digital art genre don't have any line art. But they all started with having one, you'll gradually learn to cover it when you keep on practicing!

first of all, good job. i like the composition.

critique: you need to arrange the anatomy (u hate it? then u HAVE to work on it! the only way to get better). first the head, its a bit distracted from the body (higher and more to the right...my opinion).
second, the hand, maybe rework it, its definately too small.
but overall, i really dig ur picture!

to the point of lineart: in my personal opinion, line art is important. i know that its harder at the desktop, than in a traditional way (maybe lineart traditionally, and scan it).
the key is, to build your picture up. first a really rough sketch --> next layer: lower opacity of the rough sketch, and draw above it, the lines that you think fits best.
and in most of the cases, all the professionals start with lineart for their pic (what ive seen so far). the thing is they dont need it in the end anymore, because colour edges refine their pic. nevertheless, if you want a comic kind of style, you keep the lineart, combined with colour.

in terms of lineart: my personal (!) procedure on how to built up (including line art) a picture:

maybe it helps in some kind of way.

    keep going!
