    Suggest Picks.

Playing HON for 10 days now..
Love the heros which are f2p this week.

But i want an suggestion from more exp'd players..
I like range heroes since playing with melee is a lil hard for me now..i only play casual mode matchmaking.
I Bought Mq pretty good hero..
Great at early game. But often dies and gets picked 1st in a team battle late game..
Same with Pyromancer..his stun takes a second to perform.

I played with flux a few games and he's really good..Huge hp.
But i want to ask that suggest some heroes which i can play with or buy which are effective at most part of the game..

PS:i already own a Plague rider..
PLayed with forsaken archer too..Really good..thinking of purchasng her..

Valkyrie is a really amazing multipurpose ranged-hero. Early game she can be a solid mid, good solo/suicide lane, sidelane carry, roamer, or even a solid lane harassing support. Throughout the game, she's great at helping initiate fights with her ult, going to farm in spots which may be too dangerous for heroes without escape mechs thanks to her leap, help pick off enemy heroes if they get caught out, and she can deliver solid semicarry damage output in fights.

I've been trying to think of heroes to recommend newer players and I'll try to list a few, but first here are some of the best casual mode heroes:

Accursed, Jeraziah, Emerald Warden, Amadon, Amu-Ra, Draconis, Predator, Torturer,Moon Queen, Nomad and Monkey King. Some of those are very difficult to play, but others like Emerald Warden basically play themselves.

In terms of easy heroes to start playing, Emerald Warden is a good one and Armadon is melee but very forgiving. You skill and item builds are of utmost importance, so I'd recommend reading as many guides as possible, before trying a hero.

I just thought I'd tell my newbie to average story. I've always liked strength heroes, even to this day. So I just played Jeraziah, Accursed, Rampage, and Pestilence alot of the time. One day I was doing my newbie buisness top lane as Legion and outta nowhere I get hooked and devoured. Instantly "fell in love" with the hero after that. This was when nobody ever used him, he was underpowered. I literally only played Devourer for hundreds of games..

The thing is, now that I think about it in retrospect, this was the perfect hero for me to start with. His whole playstyle developed my game rapidly. Things like positioning yourself and evaluating your opponents', prediction and ways/places a typical player would move, mastery of the middle lane/rune control, timing/precision, and countless other skills. He's technically a "hard" hero with his skillshot, but since I loved playing him it made me that much better that much faster.

Try out Devourer and if you enjoy him as much as I did I think it can really help you. If you don't, then well you don't. Good luck.

^this happened to me too, i would also advise learning to play witch slayer, hes a pretty easy hero to use and has massive effect in team fights, he can also solo other heroes as aposed to some other supports, just learn how to ward properly and learn juking and you should do pretty well with that hero

Thank you so much for your replies..
Yea.. i need to unlock emerald warden.
but i played wild soul and i really liked him..now in the 4th game..
And though i am dying still i am enjoying his play.
    In 4 games 29 Kills-40 deaths!

Get blacksmith, he's easy, deals high damage and useful throughout the game with stun+slow+buff for your carry.

Since you are new, maybe Master of Arms? He can be built to fill basicaly any role there is. I usually play him as a late game dps/carry. But he has support potential along with pretty good ganking potential. He is not super easy to master, but not very hard for beginners neither so hes a pretty good pick.

So i think u can try Defiler, Witch Slayer, Plague Rider, Draconis, Emerald Warden

I agree with witch, defiler and plague, it's harder to fail with them and if you feed/fail it doesnt matter as much since you're playing a support and not relied on so much, you're useful without much farm. WS as a disabler is useful throughout the game, plague's buff and ult are useful in every team fight, defiler is an excellent pusher and they can all ward throughout.

Try to play heroes that are useful without farm or levels (i.e. those with useful and ideally simple skills) and it won't matter if you fail that much.

Defiler is a tank carry though, which needs a solo lane to gain exp and farm.

what is the difference between pro and ws?why pyro needs levels, and ws doesn't?

  14. #14
pyro is a more offensive ganker, witch is more of a babysitter. Pyro scales better with levels (Every skill needs to be maxed asap) while Witch's manadrain isn't that important.

First hero I "fell in love with" as a new player was Soul Reaper. I started off playing him as a support until I realized how easily he could get kills. So, then I started playing him as a more semi-support and he became even more fun. Then I started to realize how unkillable and powerful he was with better items and started playing him as a semi-carry/tank.

Still one of my favorite heroes to this day. You may want to try him out. He's insanely powerful, but doesn't get the credit he deserves.
