Thread: DreamHoN Mid Wars Challenge!

Dreamhack is fast approaching and we hope you're prepared for two straight days of intense Heroes of Newerth action with the top teams from around the world...
..but there's more to look forward to!
We're proud to announce the DreamHoN Mid Wars Challenge! This awesome event features two tournaments. One gives the fans a chance to be a part of the Dreamhack festivities and the other gives the professional players a chance to participate in an... interesting competition.
It all kicks off with the DreamHoN Mid Wars Community Challenge on June 13th, a few days before Dreamhack proper begins. In association with Beyond Gaming, we'll be running a special Mid Wars tournament with a best of three format until June 15th.. The entire HoN community is welcome to join in on the carnage!
To sign up, head over to this website and be a part of the action. Registration ends on June 13th, just before the tournament kicks off. The top three teams in the event will earn handsome sums of Gold Goblin Coins for their efforts. Plus, the first place team has a special surprise waiting for them too!
But first, we'll fast forward to the third day of Dreamhack.
After the main DreamHoN tournament has concluded, the professional players will take part in another special tournament, the DreamHoN Mid Wars Pro Challenge! Captains have been chosen from the participating teams and they will be “drafting” a new team in a very special way for this interesting event. Then they'll battle it out for your entertainment on Honcast.com, crazy teams and all. The winning team will take part in one final event to be called DreamHoN Mid Wars Challenge Champions...
The Pro vs. Community Challenge!
The two winning teams from each Challenge event will face each other in a best of three set for a $1000 prize for the victors! The epic final match will take place on June 18th at 1800 CET and casted live by Honcast at Dreamhack Summer 2012. Will the Pros take care of business? Or can the Community team emerge victorious and win some cash?
Make sure you check out all the info below for both events. Then get ready for some crazy Mid Wars action!
Community Challenge Schedule
June 13th: Round of 256, Round of 128, Round of 64
June 14th: Round of 32, Round of 16, Round of 8
June 15th: Semifinals and Finals

I wonder what the definition is of 'pro team' - because there'll be a lot of low-tier competitive/ex-competitive players probably attending Dreamhack, would probably have a pretty good time with lower-level community members :P
I cannot wait for the next global challenge. I hope that u'll do that soon.
Important Question: My leave % is too high for TMM matches do you think i have to get a stat reset before i can play the matches?
What are the times in GMT+0. Everyone has a fetish for posting times in time zones that arn't being followed due to daylight savings. Can we just eliminate any confusion by posting times in the neutral GMT+0.
S2 is the hero gaming deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll chase them, because they can take it.

From rules for this Tournament:
How shall we use Tournament Rules on the Mid Wars map? when you cant select it on the map.Game Settings:
*Game Mode: Blind Banning *Player Format: 5 vs 5 *Map: Mid Wars *Additional Settings: Tournament Rules ONLY. No duplicate heroes or other advanced options are allowed.
I am also wondering about the tournament rules rule?
