Thread: HoN Hero Spotlight: Ravenor!

The souls of the damned suffer eternal torments in the hells ruled over by the Daemon Lords. The administration of such torments are left in the hands of the cruelest and most sadistic of all the condemned. These irredeemable souls take such delight in the torture of others that they are imbued with the purest essences of anger, cruelty, and hate. These beings earn a title that strikes fear into both the living, and the dead; they are the reapers of souls, the crushers of dreams, the bastions of terror, and the delivers of the damned.
They are Ravenors, and their Lord is known by that title alone.
Get ready for Ravenor this Friday! He's a great hero who can initiate if needed, however, his prowess lies within his carrying abilities!

Looks like a great hero to play! I'd advice S2 games to change the visual effect of his second skill, Ball Lightning, though. That visual effect doesn't look great in my opinion.

I'm back... Spotlight & hero are ok, but since you're putting them out so quickly (every 2 weeks), they're losing both novelty and originality, so i'd suggest to take a good look at the suggestion polls you posted in game. Ravenor's spells seem interesting and i like the visual look of his "Electrical Feedback" spell, but otherwise it seems that he's just a purplish muscular guy with a mask... I know you want to make more money fast, but if you'll keep making bland-looking heroes every two weeks, each one in a different color (Ellonia blue, Riftwaker purple, Bramble green, Ravenor pink etc.), you'll lose more than you'll gain imho. My personal suggestion: work on the next hero a bit more and bring him out later, if you can afford it.
Btw - Viole or whoever voiced the spotlight: while i like your work, the Ravenor spotlight sounded a little bit "forced" to me in comparison with the earlier spotlights, where you sounded more "natural"... i don't know if it's just me or anyone else noticed it, so i just figured i'd mention it.

I will agree tho the line at the end about getting his awesome ALT seemed really forcedbut the alt does look pretty wicked.
I also think your voice suits the spotlight videos really well

seems like a cool hero and all but pls S2 dont keep on vomiting a new hero every fortnight :/
DaddyMeander, protector of all the HoN players, is my father.
I enjoy the new hero every fortnight. Gives me a reason to spend money and support the game i enjoy. Its fun to have such new content on a regular basis.
