    1400-15000MMR help

Does anyone have any idea how I can get out of this stupid MMR?
I can juke, do damage, pay attention to the minimap, last hit properly, deny, etc.
I just got out of a perfect match, where me and a PR who was babysitting me completely locked out the enemies in our lane from getting farm while I was pretty much freefarming.
Then guess what happens, both the mid and the solo top lane guy comes out and jumps us, they have nullstone and frostwolf already (Was a CM beause I didn't feel like playing a NM match right then, wanted to test something)
The Flint kills me and I hear "Champion of Newerth" already, and it was my first death.
It doesn't matter how good I or my lane partner do, if the others fail their lane it's GG. Impossible, I didn't even have a runed cleaver or anything at that point.

If you're doing well you go roam or tp to help other lanes. Winning a lane won't win you the game, and if you believe you're better than most people around you should try to mid since the mid hero usually has more control of the game if you get good levels, farm and rune control.

As above said - Go gank other lanes. CM rewards getting kills/pushing down towers a lot better than just free-farming. If your other lanes are feeding and you're still sitting there going for a Runed Axe, you're on the wrong track for CM.

Edit - Browsed through some recent replays of yours, and your play was quite mediocre, not impressive for the 1400-1500 bracket.

Your previous 6 NM MM matches only had two wins, and in one of them, you got carried super hard. :/

It's casual. You need kills, not farm. Farming does pretty much nothing past the laning phase in casual.

If you haven't left the lane by the time an enemy has an 8 kill streak, you are doing something wrong.

    its simple math
if 1 lane wins and 2 lose u r supposed to lose most of the times
(btw i think there is a typo in the title - i dont think ive ever seen someone with 15000 mmr)

Elder parasite and frostburn. Cool story, bro.

^ you don't even know how to play the game lmao. he was forced into a carry role instead of initiating, and his items are perfect for the situation. elder parasite is the #1 luxury item on hammerstorm aside from a daemonic. all you need is some defense (shrunken), then you can be just fine with elder.

If you can last hit and deny properly youll be instantly 1700.

I took 5 or so months off from HoN last year and became so rusty that I was down in the MMR cellar by June of last year. Using the old MMR system, there was a point that I was in the 990's-1000s range, it was that bad. The problem is when you get that low, it doesn't matter how much you improve, you can't compensate for 4 other idiots on your team. (Ex a Pestilence with TWO pks)
What I did was find a noobstomping hero that I felt comfortable with and played with that hero as much as I could. Unfortunately in the low MMR's you have to be selfish. You cannot trust your teammates to ward, call mias or make generally competent decisions. Watch your own back, gank and farm for YOU as much as you can and try to ignore the Swiftblade on your team who is running around with Spellshards. Some of you may criticize me saying this, but then again most of you have never fallen as low as I have.
I picked Amun-Ra and began a slow steady climb to where I'm currently at 1320, which is still far FAR away from where I want to be.

Luckily, I have a few friends in the high 1500s who are strong players and let me play with them in their bracket. Over the past few months I've become a much more solid player and generally do quite well on my own in the low brackets because of playing experience with players over 2000 MMR higher than me.

Recently, an opposing player rated at about 1575 laughed at our team when a 1320 (me) picked a carry and then was surprised when I proceeded to go 17-4 as Draconis.
My other piece of advice: play with irl or ingame friends. Over time, you'll develop a synergy where you can predict each other's movements and help each other. I wouldn't have improved as much without the help of my irl buddies.

^Theres an awesome point. Be selfish and pick a stomp hero prefer mid cause with solo lane youll have more exp and farm which will give you more impact on the game. I kinda dislike that he said you cant compensate 4 poor player. You for sure can and thats the only way to climb as solo. I recently carried my mate back to 1600s from 1400s and I lost like 2 games, its easy if your better player.

Lol yeah I should have said that with some heroes you CAN compensate for poor teammates but with many others you can't.

^If you really are better no matter which hero you play

If you know how to deal damage and know how to juke, maybe you should take a look at viable heroes and map presence and key positioning.
I myself aint a great player but after learning how to position myself my Mmr went up by quite a bit, you should deffinitely try to position urself better in teamfights.

I suggest choosing heroes like Aluna and valkyrie and try to stay in the back of the teamfights and deal massive amount of damage.
Also Tatty meant that you have 2 attack modifiers in that game.

Yeah and also, the other team were clearly bads too. Nice frostburn pebbles. They had 0 physical damage so once he got shrunken it was GG. Swap the frostburn for a brutaliser and you would have had a good build.

I used to be 1500, and then i started watching honcast. The competitive pro games they host are amazing and I learned a lot with breakycpk and others commentating. You should keep up with some of the recent tournaments and style of gameplay. HoN is a progressive game in which play styles vary as you reach higher mmr. Watch some videos and listen carefully and you may learn a lot and reach 1700 like me! Keep a lookout for hero builds (skill and items), hero combinations, and player reaction/decision making. All of these are essential into reaching higher mmr.
