I played a game on my fresh account called TheMedicman the other day. This is what happened:
- I placed two wards early in the game.
- I bought two more wards, but they died while on the courier. My friend picked them up and gave them to me.
- I bought another ward that ended up in the same stack as the wards my friend gave to me.
- I placed the three wards in my inventory.
- I bought another ward, but the game ended before I placed it.
I placed a total of 5 wards. Two that I simply bought and placed. Two that fell on the ground and was given back to me by my friend. One that went into the stack with the two he gave me. This resulted in me getting only 2 wards placed on the stats page. It's not a big deal, but it's still annoying and I assume it's not supposed to be that way..
According to the replay log, you only triggered the ITEM_ACTIVATE event on Ward of Sight 2 times. I looked through the other things in the replay log and it shows player="-1" buying the rest of your Hellbourne Wards. This is a server-ish bug but I'll confirm it anyway since now I have the power of replay logs!
