Warning before you read further: This thread is just some ranting.
So, I was playing a 3 v 3 a few minutes ago and I was kicked around the 12 minutes mark. The lineup was as follows:
Legion: Artesia (me), Predator and Dampeer
Hellborn: Defiler, Emerald Warden and Gravekeeper
By the 12 minutes mark, my KD was 5/0 and my teams KD was something along the line 2/2 and 1/3 (pred i think). Both of my team mate kept doing dumb move from the start but it was manageable. The worse is that damp was telling me how terrible I am for not 'helping'. But the about the 8 minutes mark we gank them and it was a genocide. 2 minutes later damp and pred was ganked but I came to the rescue and we genocide them again.
After that second genocide, I think both pred and damp got overconfident and they start to solo both lane. I was at the well, damp was a bit close to top's tower... He was ganked and killed, I was too far to give any help (again, damp was telling how I dont help). Pred (who was supposedly going up to help damp) end up running back to bot lane again (alone) and he was ganked such a way... 1 was in front of him, 1 at the back and 1 on the side. I saw that and tried to run to him but when I was close, I saw the situation and I was not sure what to do because I knew the chance of getting kill was high even if I ult and for sure pred was dead even if I help. It was a bit a blond moment for me, I'll confess.
After this, damp was raging at me and immediately pass the kick vote on me... the other team was the first to thumb that up quick... then pred thumb it up. I was kicked and I am feeling a bit irritated at this (thus this ranting thread to take some steam off).
The match is still on going as I am writing this thread but for sure I'll check and update this thread when the match is over.

UPDATE
The match last 56 minutes while it could have end within 15 minutes if I was not kicked. The other guys won the match, damp ended with a good KD but pred KD was bad.

I feel sorry for you... There is only one way to avoid this while still playing 3v3; play with a friend.
Anyways, the forum guidelines state that you aren't allowed to post match ID's, you should edit that out before some random mod does :-)
Ah alright, I'll edit it out. But yeah I tend to play with a couple of friend from time to time but surprisingly there was only one friend online and he was already in game.
Can't you just report them since you had the match id and all?! :s
There's no reporting for unfair kicking.
Kick is useless in my opinion. Look at it this way:
If you are playing a 5 versus 5 game, and you have one of your teammates suck terribly or feed intentionally, you want to kick them. However, enemy team won't pass the vote because usually those are victory-hungry players who will continue feeding themselves off of inexperienced player or just keep using him to feed intentionally.
Same goes for good players and raging. If you are indeed doing brilliant or good in a specific game, you have some raging asses who want to kick you - of course enemy team will pass the vote because they want you out. It's simple as that.
I mean, many HoN players won't even pass a kick vote for people who are AFK - so why would we expect them to pass a kick vote for some other reason? It is kinda funny, actually. I guess there is a reason kicking hasn't been reworked so far.
Why would enemy team even have a vote in kicks? It might backfire if it's 4 premades + 1 player if that 1 is actually good, but it would be far better for those negative cases.

As Suddenfs just mention above, there is no reporting for unfair kicks. I am just voicing this out because I know a lot of people can relate to this, most have been victim of this kind of unfair practice at least once. I've been on a losing streak lately and its a bit sad that I got kicked out of a game that I was sure I was going to win for sure.
That's also how I see the voting system. Its always been like that, enemy team will never pass a vote for a bad player and they will always pass it if the one being kicked is actually doing good.Originally Posted by Heatseeker`
Its hard to think of a way to fix this kick system because the judgement of thumbing up or down a vote is base totally on the party who are involved thus people will up/down vote base on the interest of their game and not for the other team's game. So yeah, unless you are going to have a neutral referee in each game (yeah I know its totally unreal) then I don't think there will be any 'good' fix for that kick system.

Yes I hate kicks. Rarely works out well. Accused of KS when I am ganking for my team and you know what happens next.
Uh yeah, this thing about 'omg you ks' is also annoying too. Which again brings me to my favorite hero; Artesia. Sometime I ult, shot my arcane missile and then I get lot of hate because I 'ks", supposedly I am a 'support' and I did not initiate so... I must not interfere with the fight specially if its to last hit! ***** please, I did not steal your kill, I killed someone who was running away with 400ms and you could not get him with your 350ms anyway.
RAGING UPDATE
I made this thread this morning and now its evening... I got kicked out a match AGAIN and for more or less the same reason I mentioned above. Getting kicked twice in the same day... WOW... Its so irritating. The worse is that I was judge by just a single mistake I did and the kill I made no longer matter neither the contribution to the team (warding, counter warding, etc...). Just WOW... I'd like to say I am an A-Hole in game and rage and all that but no... I am not, I am usually mature while, I'll confess, from time to time I MIGHT blow up but this is a rare instance and it was not the case in that match...

Judging by the queue time for 3 v 3 and 5 v 5, I can say that there is quite a big pool of people that play 3 v 3. The pool might be just a bit smaller than 5 v 5 but 3 v 3 is still consequent.
wow this is starting to get frustrating, I got a THIRD kick within 24 hours!! In the past few months I don't remember ever being kicked.. but suddenly 3 kicks within 24 hours.. omg I'm I cursed or something? O_o
This time I was Gunblade. In a nutshell, I kept hearing my team mate moaning that I am not ulting the enemy (when obviously my ult was on CD). Worse is they kept pinging me to initiate on Blacksmith, which I did, and they start to focus on other enemies... I end up making BS going down 3/4 of his life while the other basically kept changing target and got raped. I was the only one alive and they were pinging all over the map for me to 'finish' the low HP enemy while myself I was at low hp and out of mana.
In the end... I got kicked. O_o I'm starting to feel bad about all this...
Damn... I feel really, really sorry for you bro.
Take some time of the game and enjoy some other games instead.
Pick up the humble indie bundle pack V in the meantime. Some really good games in there.
Just take a break, this is getting on your nerves.
I actually did not play again after the last kick (which was this morning and now its afternoon). But when I think of it, 3 kicks within 24 hours during a game I had a decent performance... its a weird feeling I am having. I think if I am going to play, I'll just play some midwar instead because at least in this mode there is less people raging or taking things too seriously.
I'll look at this pack you mention.. I'm not too sure what it is exactly but the 'indie' part gives a good hint. I use to be into indie game development in the past myself!
Edit: I just checked it out, Bastion... I've play this game and loved it to bits! I was going to pick up Limbo when it was released but, don't remember exactly why, I did not do it.. Might give that pack a shot. Thank you for suggesting it!

Yeah, didn't want to link to anything, not sure what the rules are on that (advertisement and stuff :\ ), but definitely worth looking into, greatest bundle so far!
