It's hard to make a true top 25 list, a lot of players were dominant at an earlier time, and even if you just compare players in their time to others you leave out a lot of good players. For example I didn't include Phe'v, Bkid, Fuji, Anyone from Duskbin, PaintItGold, AstonL, Sneyking, Khezu, Fly, Fresh, In general there have been so many good players and teams that played a year ago, this is a pretty subjective list.

Chu - His amazing plays b4 leaving for LoL the first time
Bkid - His Behe/Mag plays in the past, simply unmatched
Fly - Best drafter HoN has ever seen
Nova - Amazing Support knowledge and sunglasses :P
Dirgesnoopy - HoN Genius, knew counters to all/98% of the heroes next level thinking
Slickz - One of the top skilled HoN Players even with 250/300 ping (i feel your pain bro, Aussies, what are you gonna do :P)
Warden - When he was with x6/LOAD stronk player
Trixi - Best slither player ever and the man i believe to have forced S2 to nerf slithers wards sight because he utilised slithers wards so well
Testie - Ricing skills unmatched and his amazing game sense and knowledge of where to be and when to be there

If you think my choice of typeface is awkward then yes, I agree. The reason for this is fundamentally thay S2 never intended HoN or it's forums to be for Mac users, and hence I have to first login to the forums, write my text that I intend to post, copy + paste it, and then login a second time before actually being able to post it. This process changes the default typeface. Cheers

Glad to see someone else remembered Mr. Swish. I agree with everyone that you have except Tralf, like really? He is one of the worst competitive players. No game sense, like whatsoever. The others are spot on though.
One person I see not mentioned enough is Tabako.
Picked Hellbringer, starts the game 1v2 with no regen, and comes out with double kills. I still believe he is the sole reason Hellbringer was nerfed.
