A question to Moderators

The last few months you guys delete a lots of threads with the excuse " remove it to the suggestion section". I agree BUT
why do you are closing the thread and no removing it to the right section of the forum. I think you have this ability...,
This has cost to many great suggestion to be lost forever because the thread is close and the feedback from players cannot be back .. So pls dont close the thread , just remove it in the right place, its easy i think and no sth really bad..It ll help to some great suggestions to be up in the right place.

Moderators should not have to do the work the forum should. also they would have to add a poll and make sure it gets put into the proper section.

yes but if the forum worked according to the rules then there is no need for Moderators/ Think about it.. Since its in their duties then it should be done , i think

It's so users can better familiarize themselves on how to use the Suggestions forum and its subsections. Teach a man how to fish. ^^

Each subforum has its own specific rules to be followed, so one of the factors is that threads only get moved if all the rules are still followed when moved into the new subforum.

My biggest issue is, there is a difference between making a suggestion and talking about one.
I understand you guys want each section of the forum to be used, but realistically most of the talk happens in GD.
Now if a suggestion is made in the suggestion forum, then why cant we talk about the suggestion in General? it is a general discussion about the topic, thus making it more known to the community and also leads people to the suggestion forum.
Now im all for making the community a better place, and i have seen fantastic looking threads with potential get locked, but pointless or non constructive threads run rampant for ages. This needs a look at. There are times where mods run trigger happy just locking everything over the most trivial reasons.
My main rant was due to the fact i had a thread closed. But i am about to PM chavo about this and hope to have a serious and logical discussion about it.

The suggestions forum can still be used to discuss suggestions, if you feel that your suggestion isn't having enough visibility then link it in your signature and if you are seeing pointless and non constructive threads then report them! I know it might seem shocking but we moderators are human too and aren't omniscient, we have other things to do and reporting troublesome posts really helps us speed the process up. There is a specific sub section for suggestions and that is where suggestions should go as well as discussion regarding them.
