    TDM, top organization --- FJ.

Where did you read about this news of their DOTA2 team being dropped? I can't find it on their website anywhere.

    ...TOP ORGANIZATION.

Something you might not know (I don't blame you for that)

Razer signs everyone. They really do. They give you hardware at best, nothing else.

Big organization think before sending their team to a LAN.

Let's say you got a LAN with 10k pricepool for 1st place.
Sending 5 people across the world is probably like.. 6-7k.

Now how high are their chances of winning the tournament?

Sometimes it's just not worth it for bigger organizations.

It's also about exposure. There are probably some garbage LoL teams that get sent to every event with no chance of winning just because of the exposure.

Yep, but saying some top organization like SK, EG, complexity etc. are bad because they don't send some teams to LANs is just dumb. At this point, they don't need that much "exposure" anymore.

I'm not saying TDM is a bad organization or something, they are new and not big yet. This can change and it this point they really need the exposure.
I was just pointing out that calling those other organizations bad because it wouldn't be worth it for them is dumb.

I never said those organizations are bad.

Seriously, how about you get your head out of S2's ass and start being an honest person. I mean, most people would feed the urge to blow their brains out after posting even ONE of your utterly pathetic posts sucking up to S2. Okay - you can be supportive or "pro-S2", but COME ON man, you're just blindly supporting any hon/s2/gosu related organization or event in the hopes of getting more into the scene.
Disgraceful behaviour and I hope no one gives you what you want.

Also: the hon scene is COMPLETELY dead, as much as I'd like it to be alive; It's dead. It's not even a 10th as active as it was during the beta days even, and not even going to compare it to last year. Anyone who denies this is either delusional or blatantly lying (you're probably some from column a, some from column b).
First you say the word "dead", which is not true and then you say that everyone who denies this is lying. You are probably the stupidest person to post in this thread and that's a huge thing, seeing op

The HoN scene is not as active as the Dota 2 or the LoL scene, but it's far from dead. You can't say it's not alive when we have DreamHoN coming up, or the TIG tournaments, if nothing else.

We had a separate team for Dota2

You think having 1 tourney entirely sponsored by the community and one entirely by the publisher of the game is a scene that's alive?
And of course it shouldn't be as big as the LoL scene... but considering HoN still has many more players than Dota 2, it should at least compare to its competitive scene. But it doesn't even come close. Wanna know why? Because all the sponsors have been driven away, and there are no team sponsors left, no teams left and no tournaments left.

You can't compare Dota to hon with playerbase it's not like Dota is a new game. Also there is no need of sponsors ATM.

Dreamhon came up and was a great success, hontour will more than likely be an equal amazing success- from everything i've seen and heard, it looks to be amazing.
Trademark esports dropped their dota2 team; does this mean anything to the competitive scene in hon? - yep, it means that a top organisation dropped a dota2 team, and not a hon one.
That makes you wonder, whether a top organisation is more interested in hon -> dota 2.

I for one, is completly amazed about the work of the s2 employees, and the involvement all of the competitive players are showing in order to make the game grow in terms of both balancing, rulesets and tournaments.

To stay on topic - i think the "keep teams untill payday, then ditch them right before they need us"-trick is getting really old.
We've seen it oh so many times that organisations promise their teams so much, yet they back out right before they're needed.
    bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Learn the meaning of "dead". You exaggerated on it and called everyone names, who don't agree with you. Typical mad forum user behavior.
