I'm not really a 1700 player but what I do know is that SB is a very versatile hero.
I've built so many different items on him that I can't even recall all the builds, but pretty much all of them worked.

For example: I'm not an EP fan on anyone other than Chronos (and even that is situational) but it can be really good on SB because you're a bit more in control than other heroes.
The reason is because of your spin, which purges all buffs and debuffs off, so when you're in trouble you just spin and make the EP buff go away.
Another reason is because you're invulnerable during your ulti, pop EP before you ult and you'll be able to get some extra attacks out without the negative effects of EP.

Runed axe vs Null stone is really just your own preference imo.
Same with Ghost- vs. Steamboots, they both work on SB.

A fun build I once did (probably only works vs bads): Alch bones, Steamboots, Thunder Claw, Elder Parasite, Portal Key, Staff of the Master. Then swap Alch Bones for Daemonic and upgrade Thunder Claw to Charged Hammer and you can also swap something out for Wingbow or anything that procs like Savage Mace

Not really in a particular order after Steamboots, you basically get a shitload of attackspeed and proccing items and you take out entire times during your ulti, you can easily get a hattrick with 1 ult like this.

Pretty much all true, except that random build; wouldn't advise it for many many reasons.

Alch bones- increases farm, does not strengthen SBlade early game(powerful early game hero)
Thunder claw- also provides no real surviveability and is only gotten for farming reasons if any (it is pretty bad)
Elder Parasite- still doesn't give you survivability; makes you weaker and still you have no surviveability or real damage.
Pk - Give surviveability but no real damage.
SOTM- Gives a little surviveability but no real damage.

^^ Charged hammer isn't particularly good. It is a very luck based strategy hoping for procs; and if they have vestments/armor you are screwed as soon as ulti ends.
Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience

Yeah it was a fun build focussing on ult/spin to survive.
As I said, probably only works against bads and I'd only recommend it for fun, not for serious play.

With that being said, it would be extremely funny to do. I'd prob throw an energiser in there so I can ninja run away afterwards too

Swiftblade is a mid game carry, since he is next to useless later on. Thus, you want to maximize your ganks and pushes with a Swiftblade in your team. Thus you need mobility, survivability and some damage. Not a farming tool. Items like Sol's, Shieldbreaker, Portal Key, Savage Mace, or perhaps even Frostburn are preferred.

Then again, Swift is one of the, if not the worst hero in the game, so it doesn't really matter.

i still recomend axe even thought its late 30+ its very important, actually most of my game i get it around 25min but it can b delayed. but nullstone is quite hard to get when u r losing and you should be getting an axe when u r winning anyway. but u should never rush axe before ghost matcher
