Being able to choose more stuff in MM

    Hey.

I was thinking... Why isn't there more options in MM?

Like, if I'm 1770 MMR, I don't want to be paired with 1600-1650 guys. Even when I have "fairer matches" this happends, and it annoys the crap out of me.

So my suggestion is that you can, like in public, choose an "MMR-span" where you can set "Prefered lowest MMR" and "Prefered higest MMR".
If I'm 1750, I could set those to 1650-1850 or something like that. 100 below and maybe 100 above. Or I could set it to "**** do I care, just wanna play!".

AND/OR you could implement an "color prefered", and you could end up 1 spot above it or below it. Or something.
If I want to be brown/orange, I could also become yellow/dark green. If I want to be blue or pink, I could also get the color under it.
Or I could just choose "**** it, just wanna play, **** you!" or something, I don't care.

There could also be an "MMR span" to choose from. Sometimes when I join games solo I get +1.1 MMR or -0.9 MMR... That's not even fun...
So you could set the span to "Minimum XX.XX MMR - maximum MMR".

The thing is, I think we all have been there, where you get paired really wierd according to your own MMR.

In this thread, I would like some suggestions on what I wrote. Creative suggestions. Not "it wont work, fu!".
I haven't figured it all out, or anything, so I wanted ppl to comment so we could figure it out all together and maybe S2 can make it happend.

And of course it would take longer for you to get a game with these advanced options, but... You'll end up with a better game 9/10 or something.
I was only thinking about this for Soloplay, but if we somehow can apply it to Team matchmaking it would be even better.

Add a box "Exclude banned players" and i'd also like to see a option which made it able to play versus mates in MM/TMM, dunno what the probability is right as we speak.

@Macross: I really like the MMR span idea, however I disagree with the rest. If you want to make a game where you're not pink/blue and the MMRs are not all over the place then you can just make a public game (not MM). And if you're just trying to bring your MMR up by playing in higher MMR brackets, then find a buddy who has higher MMR and play with them. I've had way better games myself doing this as the 1600 mmr bracket is filled with self proclaimed carries who can't carry.

@Drogoo: You shouldn't hijack other peoples Suggestions. And, I can see somebody coming up with 3rd party app that keeps a universal banlist server for anyone to download. Problem with that is someone can just make a new account and if IPs are tracked then a whole lot of HoN players would be excluded from games. Truth is that everyone gets better, and everyone has bad days; you shouldn't hate on someone for their lack of skill. As well, the option to play versus mates in MM/TMM is available, just make a Private game and invite them.

I don't think you quite understand what I wrote... It's for soloplaying, hence I wouldn't need a partner. It's also the MMR that counts, not the PSR, when you play Matchmaking, so I can't make a public game like you're saying to get my MMR up or anything like that.

This thread was also made to suggest other things, like Drogoo's suggestion, as I wrote at the top.

Please read the thread more careful next time before you post, ty.

I just had two games where I was blue and pink. The guy under me was 120MMR below... Both times... This can't be right! I was +0.9 / -0.9 MMR.
