Recently i found out that electrician is one of the best mid heroes(or solo),and he is a good counter for many mid heroes. Can you explain this to me,why,or give me some strategies?i know you can kill all enemy creeps then stun the enemy hero so that your creeps will attack him, after that you can get the rune while he hugs his tower and regens.Any other tips?
amazing last-hitter and free harassing with 3rd skill.
His shield is the main reason why he's such a good hero in mid or a suicide lane, he can easily stay alive when he's ganked and put so much damage out when he has a bit levels.
His E ability allows him to harrass and and gain an immense amount of farm with almost no mana cost, while his ult can assist greatly in teamfights and ofcourse the rune control.
but you need 6 to get runecontrol.also found another tip:if you are agains melee and he goes for the deny/last hit just stun him,so he won't.Any other tips?
Personally I don't level grip until level 10 when I have maxed shield and absorption and also one level in the ultimate when I'm playing mid Electrician. We're around the same bracket so I'm not the best player ever, but you wont be able to kill anyone with grip until much later unless they towerdive but lets face it who towerdives Electrician?
Another important thing to note is to max shield over energyabsorption. Electric Shield is just soo powerful, it gives you more aoe damage than a free mock at level 7 and Electrician has no problems staying on his enemy once he reaches level 6. Remember, that if you are chasing or you are being chased by only one person, use your ulti on the enemy and not yourself as it slows them more than it speeds you up. Also the best boots for Electrician are plated greaves. You can go behind the tower and kill the creeps so easy with absorption+shield and use plated greaves to bring down the tower in a matter of seconds once your opponent leaves the lane. It also increases your general tankiness.
While Bottle is really good for Elec mid, you will also need a Ring of Sorcery for the increased manapool to make your shield potent and the extra regen is also nice. Countrary to popular belief, an Electrician is not supposed to gank all day long. Gank if you get a good rune (haste, sometimes invis and DD) and you see the lane isn't pushed too far up you can easily score a doubletap, atleast with haste unless your teammates have no slows or stuns. The point is that you slow the one furthest away but you all three focus on the same guy and then you use your haste and catch the guy you slowed. At level 7 your Electric Shield will do MASSIVE damage to those level 4-5s in the sidelanes.
I have played Mid Electrician a lot and I don't know how good you consider yourself to be with Elec, but I consider myself to be pretty good atleast for my bracket. If you want I could play an Elec game or two and put the replay up here.

Edit: A few things I forgot to add - when the creeps that spawn x:30 arrives in the lane use your shield and energyabsorption to quickly nuke them which means that your enemy has to make a choice. Either he goes for the rune and misses out on a whole wave of experience and gold at the tower or he gives you the rune.
The other thing that not many Electricians in this bracket knows is that runes count as a buff. They can be purged by your ultimate. So if you see someone running around with haste or double damage don't hesitiate to use your ultimate on him.

I only get grip (1 level) against ranged, to close the gap & nuke them
sounds like fun to try.what counters are for him mid?except salforis.
15 seconds b4 rune (every2 minutes) use your shield and rd ability to nuke the creepwave (and the enemy if possible) and force your enemy to choose go for rune or get exp and gold for a whole creepwave.
@up
You just repeated, almost word by word, what Envisionise has said. Good job!
No Q until level 10? I normally get it level 1, then max the other two, then max grip. It's nice to have one level of it if someone comes mid to gank or you gank a lane.
Against dumb ppl you can get early grip, but you wont be needing grip at lvl 1. Start with E and then max W, maybe taking 1 lvl in Q. The reason why 1 lvl grip against dummies is good is when you push the lane hard you can try to grip your enemie and he has to tank the whole creep pack. Doesnt sound huge, but grip, W, creep pack and E might even kill squishies at lvl 4.
Another thing to remember is that tower diving with your shield DoT and absorption nuke won't cause the tower to aggro you, allowing you to put out a massive amount of damage while their tower obliviously shoots creeps.
Just tried it out, here is a replay for you:

595gpm at the end, got a 15min mock haha. Im a 1700 scrub though.
thanks for the replay.i'll watch it asap.
Grip lvl 1 is unecessary, skill 2/3 is far more important; especially skill 2. I wouldn't advise using grip to stop them last hitting, as it does not put out much damage and uses mana which you need for skill 2.
Also when you are NOT pushing the wave (to get rune); use skill 3 to attack their hero, past the creeps so you don't push it.
Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience
A small tip that I didnt knew when I started to play elec: You can activate shield without interrupting your grip.![]()
