R'lyeh short story contest

The R'lyeh region is dominated by the legion (mainly aquatic beasts). The hellbourne opened up a scar in the ocean to seek out the power they sensed from the central trench but have bitten of more then they can chew. Now the hellbourne battle mighty foes on two fronts and an ancient evil could threaten the hellbourne and legion alike.

South America: The area of south America facing the sea is shear cliffs with toothy rocks that the waves dash against at the base.

The Scar: Hellbourne controlled ocean. The hellbourne are in a defensive position attempting to retreat but unable to close the scar behind them. This area of the sea is devoid of life.

Reef: a great reef runs along the coast. Many beasts make this area home but they are not organized. The reef protects this area shredding ships and demons alike that try to navigate its waters.

Kharydbis: the area between Haligs port and the rest of newerth. Khaydbis is dotted with many islands and at its center is a mighty whirlpool. The kraken makes this area home praying on human trading ships.

Kelp Fields/Turtle Island: home to Mydas a race of ancient turtle people. They are one of the few beast tribes to build cities and truly master magic. The Mydas come in many sizes from the willowy spell caster bubbles to more stocky sharp shelled warriors. The Mydas have long remained hidden from the humans and lived peacefully in isolation some times arbitrating disputes in the reef. With the encroachment of the hellbourne they have lashed back and now fight to end the demons and reseal R'lyeh.

Atlantis: the ancient human city the originally sealed R'lyeh preventing the old gods dreams from warping the minds of ancient humans. The city is now inhabited by specters (ghosts) of the past some aware others violently lashing out at intrudes to protects the seals bindings R'lyeh. With the seals now broken its is unknown if ancient Atlantis will pull its self together enough to stop the mad gods murmurs from threatening newerth again.

R'lyeh: once sealed by Atlantis the arch demon of madness broke the seal in search of power. As he descended into the depths he was driven mad ripping to shreds his demon escort and taking his own life an act no demon has ever committed. Now with the seal broken R'lyeh stirs once more extending its influence to the scar and feeding of its energies.

Glacier Sheet: Glacier that is home to sea life that enjoys the bitter cold.

Wrote one, submitted, forum said some bs about how i've logged in so i have to hit back button and reload page, i do that, my submission i spent an hour+ working on is gone. I'm done.

I always write my stuff in note pad. Forums shouldn't be trusted with any thing that takes more then a minute to write since stuff like that happens. Sorry to hear you lost your story.

Also I would like to know if you guys would be interested in more short stories written by me? I considered making a thread that will also include my R'lyeh story, of course added after the contest is over, and new ones when I ever I have the time and motivation to write one. So yeah please let me know what you think.
