Heard bout this from some players. just wondering how true is this.~

This is untrue. You lose regular points from conceding. It counts as a loss, nothing more.
Disconnecting, on the other hand, counts as a leave. Being kicked also counts as a leave. You will get a loss in addition to the leave for disconnecting (even if your team wins) as of the last time I checked.
