    Kinesis

I'm absolutely lost on this hero. How the heck does anyone play him?

    So far the only build I have seen is building a codex, spellshards and staff. They don't even get tablet which I regard as a core item for most intel heroes. It's plain ridiculous. I sorta hate codex because;

    1. Hard to farm, esp if you are playing him as support which leads me to ask that can he be played as support?

    2. Team 7/10 times rages at you for KSing

    3. Countered with null stones

Just about the only hero I build codex on is BS and Parasite. How do you guys build and skill him?

I really like the hero concept but he's darn difficult. Tried finding some thread on the forum but nothing seemed to fit the bill.

Kinesis is jut fine if you play him as a semi support, which means you do not need a hell lot of items (just the usual support stuff like tablet, mana battery etc).

Kinesis is one of my favourite heroes, and I am an extremely experienced Kinesiss player.
I have NEVER gone Codex, cuz it's the most pointless, non-contributing item. Spellshards is a necessity and Staff is useful as well for his ult.

The main thing about Kinesis, is to spam "W" whenever you can, then toss em at the enemy. I find it best to start harrassing heroes at level 3, where you can lift 2 things and toss them. It also slows them so you can land some auto attacks. If your attempting to kill during the early laning phase, I find it best to Lift, toss, then tornado them. While thier in the air, dont attack the enemy hero because it does 50% less damage. While thier lifted, just walk closer to them so you can chase when they run, and lift more trees/creeps to toss once they come down.

Late game, the essential killing style is to tornado them first, which gives you 2.5 seconds to spam "W" and your your ulti. Now the timing is important, esp if your dealing with good escape heroes like Valk or MB, make sure you toss all of the lifted creeps/trees as soon as they come down from the tornado. If done right, you should achieve maximum damage output (1400 magic dmg with SoM) whilst not giving them time to counter with any spells

    I hope this helped

Exactly, you can continuously go E -> W -> E -> W when you reach cooldown to keep up with just any target without blink while you keep hurting them. a Very useful hero in all.

I find Portal Key to be core on Kinesis. I'm surprised that a lot of people don't see the power that a PK gives him. I will generally get Phase, Grave Locket, PK, then Null Stone (for the regen and so you don't get cc'd before you can throw).

The PK is essential to get you as close to the enemy as possible because they will run the second they fall. If you lift them from max range, you will barely have enough time to throw before the guy walks out of range.

Mock does wonders on him too. When combined with nullstone and other survivability items. He becomes more than just a caster.

I get the point that u gotta keep tossing things at the enemy heroes but what do you max first?

The stun or the lift? The general rule is that IF the hero has a stun which increases in duration as you level it, you max stun first. But since Kinesis's gameplay revolves around those lifts, should I max them first?

Shield is the last one to be maxed after I'm done with stun and lift obviously.

To the guy who has mentioned Mock, as far as I believe it's not a good item on him because it does not do SPELL damage attempted. If it was just magic damage, then I would believe that Charged Hammer is a really good pick up since it would not only give u auto-attack damage but the magic damage from the lightening would theoretically constantly keep your shield up. But maybe I am wrong and spell damage is the same as magic damage, in that case Mock could probably become relevant for him in my eyes.

    Mock always worked on him

Harkon's didn't at first, but they patched it to work
