Before we start, I am definitely connected to the internet as I'm posting this, and it seems to log me in fine.

However when I am actually logged in, It does not want to connect to the chat server! It goes through the 5 attempts then just comes up 'Disconnected from chat server' and does nothing more. Because of this, I cannot play games!

It must have logged me in at least some of the way as I can see my coins have loaded, which wouldn't have happened otherwise.
Also this has only started happening since I downloaded the patch and installed it.

Oh I have also just discovered I can join Public games, and once in game talk to them which means I must be connected to one form of chat server? I just cannot connect to the main one out of the game or play MM.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
