Relax - This time last year you had to pay to play HoN. Right now, the game is Free to play, which, don't fool yourselves, has plenty of advantages even for us legacy players. But that means of course that Gold Coin Purchases are the main source of income right now (next to a little merchandise, i guess). You don't see your Groceries store give a 50% discount on everything. All the coin stuff is now a lot more motivated by the urge to sell gold coins than before. But again, S2 is not a welfare organisation and has to get their money somehow =)
