The HoN-iversary is upon us and there's tons of stuff going on in Newerth! We're so excited that HoN is turning two and we hope that you're excited too. Why wouldn't you be!? Check out what's happening this week.
Newerth Fan Art Contest
First of all, you guys are AMAZING! We were overwhelmed with all the submissions that we got. There was so many quality entries that it was incredibly difficult for us to choose the winners but we've finally settled on our winners. There was one Grand Prize winner and four Runner-ups for each category: Video, Art, Short Fiction, Music and Cosplay . Here's the prize breakdown:Grand Prize Winners Receive:
- A Limited Edition 2nd HoN-iversary Collector's box containing unlock codes for all 6 Gold Collection Alt Avatars,
- 10,000 Gold Goblin Coins
- A HoN swag bag containing t-shirts, posters, a water bottle, and stickers
- A feature in our 2nd HoN-iversary Newerth Art Contest Video posted on the official S2 Games Youtube Channel
Runner-Up Prize Winners Receive:

iGames Celebration
S2 Games and iGames have teamed up to bring you a weekend of HON at participating LAN centers in North America and Canada. If you attend one of these participating LAN centers you'll receive access to all non EA heroes, 420 gold coins and a chance to receive a swag bag compliments of S2. Happening all weekend long. On Saturday, be the first to walk in the door to receive the anniversary hero, Riftwalker for free.

Howie's Game Shack locations in California and Arizona are in on the HoN-iversary action too! Make sure you head down to your local Howie's LAN center this week to get a chance to win some awesome HoN stuff! There's tournaments to play in too so don't miss all the action!

So if you team up with like 3-4 buddies an average MMR game (win) will give you 45 to 50 coins... thats sweet! Do an little over 20/25 games and you have 1.000 silver coins in a weekend. Epic!
Nice! But I'm still expecting more for the anniversary...like custom maps...
My goal is for at least one of my heroes to be ported into HoN! Help my cause and get S2 to see these!

tbh i find this a bit meh, don't really need silver, my state isn't in igames, not an artist, and already have taunt, cour, and elec alt =(

Mhh so there is a lan tournament, lan center fun and a fan art contest for like 10% of the playerbase. The rest of us just gets 4x silver coins which is not more than meh since new things cost 3k silver anyway. I hope that you at least reduce the prices in the shop and hand out like a special deal to buy all heroes and I wanna see a kongor with a party hat. The behind the scenes video sounds good but I don't think its enough to celebrate a big birthday. Some S2 community fun inhouses or something would be nice too.

So only those fortunate enough to live in a city with a specific LAN center get gold coins. All us other trash get a couple hundred silver.
I Am Disappoint.
We will be having an event at our store in Phoenix. I need a volenteer to teach new people the game. In return a free day pass any day you want, lunch (linch for me is around 6:00 PM) and 2 drinks. We will giving away some panda plushies, HoN tee shirts and some 1000 dollar gold coin packages. We might also have a free hero for F2P accounts. Not sure about that last one yet. If anyone is interested in helping me please send me a PM. You will likely be teaching people that have played LoL or Dota or playing games with our HoN crowd.
Not to be sore or anything but to be honest this isnt much. Where are the free gold coins ( at least 200) for Honanniversary. Where is the 50% off gold and silver prices in the store? Where is the gold coin mm? Where is a raffle contest each day for the community.To be honest the only good thing is the new mid wars map. Shoulda stepped it up more to be honest.

In these two years you guys have grown quite believe it will grow much more. I really like the ideas that are being developed in the game and treating their customers like me I'm facinado with this game. congratulations and good job of game developers to s2!
