I think it's a better idea that we all should play the 3v3 map. I'm guessing the 2 games that i played yesterday that lasted an hour, each, didn't help. I'm not a fan of the 3v3 map but i'm queing right now for a match so i say we all play today on the 3v3 map...

It's wednesday and there's a slim chance we can still make it to the 1.1 mark... We have to do smth to change the strategy cuz this is not working...
Another strategy would be to cc as early as possible... But i'm guessing you can't convince the scout players to cc at min 20 at 10-20 score... keeping this in mind tell teams that are losing to cc asap so we have at least a change to make it to 1.1 mil games...

Starting tomorrow, May 7th at 00:00 EDT, we're challenging all of Newerth to unite and play more games of HoN in the week preceding HoN-iversary than the world has ever known. The Challenge starts on Monday, May 7th at 00:00 EDT and lasts until Friday May 11th at 23:59 EDT, where for five days, gamers from around the world in regions such as South East Asia, The Commonwealth of Independent States, North America, and Europe are called to queue up and battle alongside one another as a force to be reckoned with. Should the HoN community go above and beyond in answering the call, we'll reward every participating HoN account with prizes commemorating this massive 2nd HoN-iversary commitment.

The Prizes

When the HoN Community hits these global totals for number of games played, they lock in the prize and bring everyone one step closer to completing the challenge:

1. 300,000 Total Game Count Prize = Kongor Courier
   
2. 700,000 Total Game Count Prize = Kongor Taunt
   
3. 1.1 Million Total Game Count Prize = Steampunk Electrician Alt Avatar

How To Win

To enter, simply log in to HoN and do your part by playing any matchmaking game mode starting Monday, May 7th at 00:00 EDT and ending Friday May 11th at 23:59 EDT. Track the progress of the Global HoN Challenge throughout the week using the image in the In-Game Message of the Day and at http://www.heroesofnewerth.com. Prizes will be distributed May 11 to everyone who played at least one match throughout the week.

With the HoN-iversary approaching and the Global HoN Challenge starting tomorrow, there's never been a better time to rally the troops and Get It HoN, so get out there and win those prizes.

i suggest everyone start playing casual mode until 11 may that's the fastest way to make the 1.1m mark and if you lose badly ... just fcking cc , don't try to play with tards in team when the score is 5-30 and you have 3 frags from a total of fcking 5 and your team is useless. just cc and we might make it playing Public games won't help at all .... so players doing that might want to start thinking about playing mm games

It´s pretty lame that people are not rewarded for contributing to this achievement scaling with their contribution.

I play one game and get the same reward as someone who plays 40 or 50 games within this week?

Doesnt sound fair imho.

Please S2 make at least a little incentive for the top contributors (number of games played wise)...

So not having a life outside of HoN (relationship, kids, job, school, etc.) should give you more than people that don't have that kind of free time right? I guess....

Looks like 300k and a little bit extra over a 2 day period. Probably hit around 800k on friday night but still seems far off from the 1.1mil

The counter has been just over the 300k mark for about 24 hours ! so we did 300k in just over 1 day !!! which means we can make the mill EASY in 5 days specially that the weekend is included with a 4x silver !!! so weekend alone should be 600k !!! Trust me WE GOT THIS !!!

yea, no the weekend doesnt count. Read the post from S2. It states May 7-11 11:59. the 11th is friday and the 11:59 means 1 min before saturday the 12th. so how does this count the weekend?

I can not answer this as i have not been home to try and play any TMM. Maybe post this question in the Tech support forum and let S2 know. If this is happening to more then just your que, and there is a server issue on S2's side, then they need to fix the issue and extend how long we have to hit the 1.1mil mark deadline. Other then that i would need to know what options you have set for your TMM. Is it set for Casual Mode? or Normal? do you only have All Pick or Single Draft or more options then one? these are the things S2 would need to know. Also how many people are you queuing up with?
