BEWARE: White Van Scam

Just wanted to alert the HoN Community about this for those that didn't know already as we all spend time on our computer and getting a 3500$ sound system for 200 bucks would seem like a steal--it's really a scam. These guys are going to come up to you in a Van tell you they have over stock or something and are trying to sell it quick before they take it back to their boss (who will keep the overstock if they do.) They present you with a magazine and receipt a bill and everything--its very convincing but its a lie. Don't let it happen to you. No need to troll I feel bottom of the pit stupid already.

Isn't General Discussion the forum to go to if you just want to talk about things in general? Because I'm 100% sure that's what it is. So how is this off topic? And like you said, it is a nice gesture and is just generally helpful to people. So why flex your moderator muscles and move it? No one was replying to it anyways so it was going to go down the drain. Such unnecessary expenditures of effort. That is just a waste.

But do whatever. I'm just here to say that it just seems illogical.

General Discussion is supposed to be about anything generally HoN related. A warning about a completely unrelated scam doesn't really fit there. If I had left it in GD, it would have flooded with trolls and generally been a rather useless topic(it's probably rather useless anyway, this particular scam sounds very local).

I'd like to let you know that I try to never "flex my moderator muscles". I'm a forum user just like you, but I am also tasked with cleaning things up so that everyone has a better time of it. I hope I don't come across as a power-whore, as I am certainly not one.
