As title says.
I was using Frost Plague Rider(which is an alt avatar) and it seems that the shield that Plague casts which give armor and to only slow melee units also affect range heroes and range creeps when description says that it only affects melee targets that attack the entity with the shield casted on them.

The tooltip is outdated, it is intended to function against both ranged and melee units.
It is fixed internally.
