HoN Jukebox

Well it's simple idea but maybe not that simple to make and I am sure most of the people who play hon will enjoy it. The idea is to make jukebox for custom music which every player can put in some folder in hon directory and then in game through interface they will ableto switch and search for the song they want. Of course there should be soem button with which you show/hide that menu so it doesn't block some part of the screen
I know that currently you can jsut alt+tab to youtube/winamp/ w/e program but it will be easier to have it in game :P

Well my idea is about in game jukebox. Something like a menu with song name,length of the song,search function for songs in your folder, buttons for:volume,next/previous song,play,stop,pause. And all this in game while you are playing. There just need to be one button to show and hide that menu so it doesn't cover part of your screen. The only thing you have to do is put all songs you want in some folder in your HoN folder.

Bangerz made a mod for this which wasn't quite finished (had to start each track manually) and I couldn't get it to work reliably anyway.

It would be nice if S2 could pay him to finish it.

This is a fantastic take on the idea at hand and I think that if you were to put this in the modifications thread, somebody might have something to say about it. Good idea OP.

You can do both? o.O I've seen some streamers who have their hon sounds+custmon music playing on the background+talking with someone on voice chat and they are still focused and play good.

I think they should have HoN radio as an option to play in-game. So it could have say interviews from various tournaments, music, mabye even just people talking about HoN, news something to keep in touch with the community.

Come to think of it HoN radio could have contests and prizes like the radios we listen to on the drive to work/uni everyday. Would be fun and an interesting idea.

That said with your jukebox idea it could be incorporated by having polls into playing different songs and stuff. I dunno just imagining a fully immersive game experience.
