Massive FPS lag on new PC

Hey guys,

Just got my new PC set up and im having problems with HoN. I get lots of lag and jerky movements from the very start of each game.

System should be more then capable of running this game as my last old PC had no problems.

Graphics card drivers up to date
OS patched and up to date
Internet working fine at 30mb/s
Direct X updated

host_drawFPS 1 = 110 - 130 FPS
host_drawFPS 2 = 5-40ms

Any reason why a new pc, fresh OS installation and fresh Hon installation would lag from the first game?

Drop your graphics to the bare minimum and see if it improves.
