    Damn, wanted the hat-trick!

Anywho, this competition had a lot of great suggestions so I'm very thrilled to be that close. As for the winner:

    I nod, approvingly.

My heroes really didn't fit this contest...

Wow, I actually won? While only placing in 1 of the award categories? I wonder what happened there...

In all honesty, many thanks to Melto for hosting the contest, and for willing to code the winners.

And thanks to the Devil May Cry series AND Ultimate Marvel versus Capcom 3 for obvious inspiration reasons.

I wonder what to do now... iirc this means there are no other contests running ATM. Maybe I could work on my Dante draft some more...

The results do not surprise me. It's what happens every time the judges are actively involved in the creative process for the entries. I'll be sure to judge in future contests when possible, if only to show the other judges what true neutrality is.

So, do you think the winner should be another hero?:P

    Thanks Lhune!

Definitely, I critiqued the first place hero far before the end of the contest, pointing out an obvious flaw in its design, to which it was never fixed. Said design flaw is a how skill 1 consumes multiples charges from skills 2 and 4.

  14. #74
Well, but then that is your opnium, that is valid I guess. There are other judges too, so it will be a mix of notes, and I think this is just for fun, isnt it?:P I don't know if there isn't any design that is flawless I guess, and a lot more design flaws in this competition....ca you point out a hero in this competition that is flawless?:P

    Thanks Lhune!

It was not my job to find such a hero as I was not a judge, but I know for a fact that the one in first was not deserving of a >100%. I'd love to see a breakdown of the points, if not for what specifically the judges found so fantastic about the heroes, then to at least minimize the probability of corruption of the final tally.

Read the post at the top of the page. Melto specifically said he would publish a full rubric of everyone's hero. Probably because people will whine and ***** to him about the tiniest things.

If you want to get into a heated discussion over how flawed Vergil is then PM me. I don't think a flame war is going to go over well in this thread.

Second, I'm focusing the conversation on this contest, not your hero. Someone asked, I gave a response and continued to keep the focus of the discussion on the contest. I'd still like to see the details.

1st, Whatever you will say, the rank aren't going to change.

2nd, as I said, I will not provide more about the marks, score and Scoreboard.

3rd, Awards are totally independant from the scoreboard, and are just given by appreciation of Draft...

4th, Beroya, I think You're complaining more about the fact that your hero don't have good score enough, but you hide this under, a corruption matter which doesn't exist at all...
Why would judges favor an hero over another other than?

5th, 300 isn't a perfect score, all draft here aren't perfect... none should have perfect score... a Normalization is done on, points range and the favourite hero of each judge are granted 10 extra points...

Beroya, for the next contest I would like you to be a judge, to see the work behind all this ok?

If you still have to complain, tell me what your drafts has more that the Top 5 of this contest?

Any way we could know which hero were the favorite of each of the judges?

Also, I would like to thank you Melto for making these contests and also Apostate and DrPeckers for taking the time to judge all of this.
