Hey!
I tried to update my HoN to the newest version today, but the update crashed every time to the last "stage" (the windows looking screen) and told me "Cannot update /.k2dll file.
I tried a fresh re-install, but it didn't help, still got the same problem.
Here is my console:

Disable your antivirus/firewall/parental control/UAC/...
Run HoN as an admin and windows 95 compatible.
Check that your windows is up-to-date.
Also try installing HoN directly onto the c:/ as the security there is more lax.
