very sexy theli <3
EDIT:
BTW, you should mention that Attack Action Time for ranged heroes is the point when their projectile launches, not when damage is dealt :]

Are you sure about that?
In Warcraft 3(and by consequence, in HoN's older brother, DotA), base damage is just the starting damage of the hero + damage from its primary attribute, including items additional.
I tested with a Behemoth level 3, with Enrage level 2, +100% base damage. Before cast it deals 50 - 61, with no items. After casting Enrage it's damage goes to 106 - 117.
When with Broadsword on it's inventory, it's damage goes to 68 - 79, and when Enraged, 124 - 135.
With 3xBolstering Armband instead, damage before Enrage is the same and with Broadsword, 68 - 79, but after casting Enrage it's damage goes to 142 - 153.
Actually the fact that most players do not know what base damage means is the cause of a lot of complacency, S2 should clarify it well to new player's, like adding in-game notes about this kind f terminology.
Some example:
Talking strategy, working in Agility instead of damage for The Dark Lady might be much better for Dark Blades, since it would give both damage and attack speed, not to talk about armor.
The same apply to Nomad's Mirage Strike, since it deals base damage + bonus.
Andromeda's and Wolf Commander's aura also add % of base damage, but the bonus does not count as base damage.
I'll clear it up. I changed it to this:
So it's pretty much what you said.Base Damage - The base damage of the unit. Base damage = Hero starting damage + primary attribute . This is not to be confused with "Total Damage" (total damage = Base Damage + item damage + bonuses)

OP I think you have a typo:
Your listed calculations indicate that Health and Mana Regeneration per Strength and Intelligence respectively is 0.3 and 0.4, but I'm fairly sure this isn't the case.
- Lvl1 HP Regeneration - Health Regen at Level 1 (base regen + strength at level 1 * 0.3)
- Lvl1 MP Regeneration - Health Regen at Level 1 (0.01 + intelligence at level 1 * 0.4)
I believe its actually 0.03 and 0.04, which matches the results in your link.
Your stats and in game:
Pyromancer Level1 MP Regeneration is 0.97
(calculated from : 0.01 + 24 * 0.04 = 0.97)
0.01 + 24 * 0.4 would be 9.67 which it most certainly isn't :P
I fixed it ty

uh you did?
The Level 1 calculations still have 0.3 and 0.4 in them though?
I'm guessing you changed the Level 25 ones though as they say the correct values of 0.03 and 0.04
Yes I only did the 25 ones, I did all of them now

this is currently broken along with /query/ on the same site due to technical difficulties (it ate 1G of free DB storage) and will be sorted out after I return home from trip in a week.
I also plan to limit this hero information and /query/ one to keep just the latest retail version to limit its database usage.
