*Extract the NightmarishV2dot1.zip file.
*Copy the "game" folder inside it to your "C:\games\Heroes of Newerth" directory
*Basically copy and replace.
*Host an offline practice match with "map_nightmarish" selected.
*With console, type in exactly:
StartGame "practice" "" "map:"nightmarish"

Hello, nice map, but i have some question, can i "survive long" with ws when there is no items to buy? And only ws can do it?

That's only the map though, the 17 Meg one I recently posted has the music resource too. Heck, use your own music if you want to.
Really nice work, I'm gonna follow this for sure ! Just one thing, for everyone to know, don't enable any of the advanced options when creating the game ( like only INT, or any other one) or you will be able to pick any heroe and skills won't work how they're supposed to.
I can't seem to make it work :'( I've saved it as a .zip and a .s2z in my hon/games/maps but it says it is a compatible file and won't show up with the regular maps. When I try and run the map in my HoN installation it won't show up in the practice mode maps AND i can't start it via console. tl;dr: halp wont werk
I've tried both and i have saved it in s2z copied it i my maps and such but it wont show up in the practice mode and when i type the stuff in the console exactly it loads about 1/10th of the way there and then tells me the server failed. I don't know what im doing wrong :/

Got a lot of feedback, btw gunblade also have Rifle skill (D)...Need to make that more visible.
Map looks a bit weird without the foliage, that black ground for instance is suppose to give a shadow like illusion to the grass.
Gonna enable foliage by default and optimize it a bit, changing the camera gave a bigger performance hit than I anticipated with the grass.
Anyways I planning on a lot of improvements, more solid and interesting mechanics and gameplay and overall polish.
Recently found out that S2 implemented a new targeting scheme which allows you to instantly cast a skill on your cursors location. In the case of gunblade you just have to press D to shoot, there's no additional left click required.
I've busy working on Soulstealer to make him use this new targeting scheme.
Also gonna be a tiny bit harder, will have to manage resources more carefully and you won't get to level6 in an instant. And of course more monsters and ways to die...
Trying to balance the game around quick CCC (Charges, Cooldowns, Cost).

Added better ending and a snowy map as alternative among a few other tweaks and additions. Artillery has 5 skills now. Bombardier's artillery strike and Empaths wall. Was playing around a bit.
Having problem with mediafire atm though, apparently you can't put mulitple archives in a file anymore, this includes the s2z extention. So I have to switch to sendspace for now.
Also new end game screen. Lets see who can finish the map first and post it. TIP: Press F12 before making the screenshot.
Is there a video preview of this somewhere? I would like to watch that.

Enjoyable map! Had a little difficulty with the tablet movement though. I just ended up using only the forward push, otherwise I would need a whole new hotkey system.
Managed to finish it with Ellonia after failing hard with the witchslayer. I like that you can actually see the progress in the remaining hp of the hellbourne shrine.
I'll try some of the other characters in the future.
