I'm pretty sure when nighthound or fayde are attacked when invis, they get revealed for and fade back. There was one time I was playing rhapsody and I got my stun on fadye but she turned on her ulti to run away. I thought I lose the stun counter but apparently it still worked so I spammed it before it went off and didn't see her?! Geomancer also had his ring of death on her so we could sorta see where she went but it was odd.. don't stuns or damage reveal invis?
No, they don't. Only few specific skills reveal invis units (TB's main nuke, chronosphere for example). You can go from full to 0 while invis and not get revealed.
edit: also channeling skills reveal for their duration.

Only stuns with the 'reveal' tag reveal invis when they hit ex: chronos's ultimate.
Stuns that does not have this do not reveal invis, the stun will damage if it isn't projectile based or hits before the hero fades away.
Hope this helps, for a list of stuns that reveal you'd better ask macro :3

Look for my highlighted text (important information) and grey text (interesting but not required information).
I found this one out the hard way. Keeper's ulti reveals. -.-
This eternal accusation against Christianity I shall write upon all walls, wherever walls are to be found--I have letters that even the blind will be able to see. . . I call Christianity the one great curse, the one great intrinsic depravity, the one great instinct of revenge, for which no means are venomous enough, or secret, subterranean and small enough,- I call it the one immortal blemish upon the human race. . .

Myrmidon's Weed Field reveals as well. So funny to ruin people escaping with shrouds as myrm.

The answer has already been given:
Stuns in of themselves do not reveal invis. However, some disables have "reveal" called out in addition to the other effects for balance/thematic reasons.
Closing because topic is beginning to diverge. Feel free to create new threads if you wish to discuss silencing, Myrmidon, etc.
