Custom Diablo UI Updated April 4th 2012

NOTE
If you install this mod and nothing is in the right place, Press F6 and go into Options->Mods->Movable Frames and click "reset all". The positions are hard-coded into the mod and everything will snap into place as you see them in this image (you may have to move your 3rd party addons back into position after this).

Hi guys,

I've never really done this before but I'm slowly making my way to fixing -F- Hud and this is a prerequisite, so I've fixed it up. Here is a screenshot of what it looks now, I assume the graphics are different because of the updates to MiniUI (which I've also provided a link for in case you don't have a working version).


Note: The minimap looks more detailed because I have the HD Minimap mod, it will not look like this in the Diablo UI mod.

You will need to have all of the above files and load them into HoN Modman, compile and go! It can be quite flaky with some extra mods so if you have problems, disable all of your mods and re-enable them one at a time to see which is the offending mod.

All of the animations with the health and mana bottles work, you can see the health potion mist animation work when health is below 50% and refills slowly when in the pool or using a bottle. I have never used this mod before so I couldn't compare it to the original work but it looks quite satisfying.

I'm getting an error when I use this mod but there hasn't been a HoN patch?
If you already have the pre-requisite mods listed and you download Diablo UI and it isn't working, I suggest you download my version of the mods. It works fine on my pc and so if you use the files I have provided, they should work for you too.

I can't get it working even when I use your mods, what now?
If you still can't get it working then please take a screenshot of the error and post it in this thread. I will work out all the bugs you guys have so the mod is usable!

I did not make this mod, and I do not claim ownership. Another modder has made it and has neglected it for whatever reason and I have repaired it so the HoN community can still use it. I am not the original author, I'm the janitor

Yes I am currently working on fixing this, my apologies. I had not tested this thoroughly, thank you for pointing this out. I will update when I have fixed this incompatibility

Well if you assign a control group number for your hero (i.e. ctrl 1) and when the wide-screen mana bar bug happens just quickly press 1 to select your hero and get rid of the bug. Hope this helps as a quick workaround 'till hotfix comes.

Hey so this mod is awesome only im getting an issue where it says:

Could not find string starting with "sceneheight='88h'' as sought by line 35

^ ^ that happens right after i hit apply all mods and it only shows up as "Diablo UI" >< why?? (((

Hmmm I had to put that in there as the mod was giving me a big black bar down the bottom and cutting off part of the screen, it seems some people have it and some do not. I'll have to remove it and make a separate mod for those people having the problem

I have made an update to the mod but it has not removed the sceneheight fix as I have no other complains that this is not working. I have removed all of my mods and when using just the ones I have suggested you download, it requires the sceneheight fix. If you have this error, please use the honmods I have provided in the original post and see if this fixes your problem. So far over 50 people have downloaded and used this mod with no complaint, but I will not know if this does not work if you do not tell me.

I still run into the problem that MiniUI have changed name to aMiniUI and thus I cant enable the Diablo UI mod.


I tried to change the mod myself but without success...

All that is missing is an "a" infront of the miniUI line.

I've tried to extract the mod.xml file, change the line and tried to reapply it to the archieve but I get an error here.

I think the archive is password protected or something.

Please add that stupid "a" so we can use this mod.
