Yes: Would encourage a more friendly community
No: Won't help / it's ok how it is now
So HoN is famous for its offending players and dealing with them is part of many games. Raging is definitely part of a team game, but often I don't understand why certain players disrupt the own team-(play) by excessive rage.
Why not promote well manners by enabling every player to rate his team mates manner after a match by choice. This rating will work work like it does in many forums, where you can rate a user. It will be an average rating so an unfair rating will not be a problem.
This rating (like 8/10 rating or 5 stars or whatever), will be shown for every player like any other stats. This already works for many forums or other communities to encourage a more friendly behavior.
What do you think?
Fantastic option, could even have a sliding scale on match making for what level of raging players you would tolerate playing with. knowing it would take longer to get a match would be fine for me!

Yea, I'm sure people will just love that they have to be on their best behavior when they're just trying to have fun playing a game and RELAX. When I think of this I think of when my windshield got cracked because a rock hit it on the highway, so I had to call a windshield company through my insurance. Then the guy came out and fixed my windshield and they emailed me to reply with a survey of how polite/whatnot my technician was. This is a game, not a job, this idea is simply ridiculous.
It's not reporting the technician to his company, but rating his work to your neighbor. And if your neighbor is looking for a technician himself, he will see how others rated him before. Just like rating a user in a forum. Furthermore it's optional to rate someone - so if the player took an effort to make suggestions what strategies the team may follow and communicated a lot you may give him a good rating - if not... just don't rate him - if he disrupted the team by raging a lot, harrassing his team mates all game long and hence also reducing the fun, give him a negative rating.

The idea of having a "manners" rating on a game is just absurd to me. And yes it is like the technician because he is on the job thinking about what his feedback will be, just like you would in game. Imagine if you solo queue with 4 kids who think you're bad and **** talk you etc. Then all 4 of them give you a 0/10.

Generally I like the idea of a rating, but I think it won't help the community in the way you suggested it. All Flamers, whiners and so on will give you a bad rating, just because they CAN.
But I would like and positive-only rating like facebook, you can give someone a "played good" after game if you want and maybe we could build a new Player skill rating system on that, because in my opinion the current one does not work in the intented way.
Funny thing this search button. Was about to post this :P. +1 from me
Again why not apply banlist?
I dont get why it does not work.
Works for pups yes, but hwo many hon players play pups.
