Manasteal?

Why is there not any Manasteal items in HoN?

Would be cool to have an item that steal 5 mana per creep kill or something like in Diablo

Pretty much the above poster. I could see mana steal on spell cast with some restrictions (like can't steal more than 50% of the cost of the spell or something like that) but idk how well that'd go over with balance.
