An interesting read from an outside perspective. However, you should shy away from stating opinion as facts especially when referring to people you don't know; as it calls your journalistic integrity into question. For instance, implying that I don't have a big picture in mind is incredibly ignorant. I understand that as an outsider you and many others continue to receive little to no information about the ongoing things here at S2 for eSports. However, you fail to mention the turnover our company has experienced in other avenues, like changing management of eSports 3 times in the course of 6 months. That is an important topic that needs to be realized.
eSports has and will continue to be important to S2Games as we continue to see rapid growth in HoN, however much stake has been placed on HoN Tour which is why it has been delayed. After I took over the project roughly two months ago many things had to be changed to meet with the standards of quality expected for a professional level circuit. The vision of HoN Tour previously had not been fully realized, which was apparent once I stepped in.
We are finalizing many issues with HoN Tour right now and expect to be ready for launch shortly. I will say that the month of April will be EXTREMELY busy for competitors and spectators alike. Don't lose faith yet, my goal to revitalize (not revive) the eSports scene will be shortly realized.
Expect more, get more.

2 promises made in March:

1. There will be a huge announcement for the NA HON Scene in the next days (that is more than a week ago)
2. Month of April will be extreme busy for comeptitive teams and specstators

but april has already started and there is no sign of any announcement and no sign of a busy april. maybe soon?

There even is a custommap editor it just doesnt work (cant recall if they promised that it would work with retail or not but might be)

And noone ever said anything about a specific date but promising something will happen and never delivering is just as mean

Youre right when youre saying that they deliver IF they give a specific date... (at least i cant really think of anything) the problem is they promise things that cant possibly get done anytime soon

its april the 5th now, we have 4 working days in april now. no sign of a announcement and no sign of a busy april for me as a viewer nor the competitors. since its pax east at the weekend won't have an announcement there because phil will be busy with peaches2410 as his guest at pax. i have low hopes that his announcement for a busy april will come true :/
