    Up hill misses with MELEE.

I'm wondering. Melee has 128 or something attack range. Would it be possible to make up hill misses for a melee?

Melee heroes are not affected by any up hill miss chance.

In the sense that if you are a melee type attack, you cannot miss due to fog, invisibility or hill miss chance. This sometimes has some issues when you attack someone that has gone into fog due to having them targeted.

Sorry Macro, it's just too good.

This also affects invis quite interestingly. If a hero is in fade time and you have started an attack animation as a melee hero, you can still hit them even if they are invis. Where as for ranges attacks you'd have no such effect.

^ not completely true. Melee attacks still miss if disjointed mid-animation, and some methods of invisibility disjoint.

Nope. Disjointing only works for projectiles.

If you weren't talking about disjointing, you were probably talking about the 500 buffer range. The buffer range is true, but being invis does not protect you from a melee attack that is already in its attack point progress.

    That is a bug.

does that mean that a melee hero with harkons can be disjointed? cause harkons turns your attack into a projectile, does it also mean uphill miss could be possible?

or am i reading too far into this...

I do believe I fixed that issue so that melee attackers don't spawn a projectile with an active Harkon's Blade - so the answer is no.

However, assuming it was how you said & pretending that I didn't fix it, your assertion would be correct.
