We need to change the angle of armordillo and reduce spines damage at max level.
Also I think we can add a new mechanic that makes armordillo only work a certain amount of times (like hotbl charges basically) maybe 30 charges and abilities remove 3 charges and 1 hit removes 1 charge, also charge regen like 1 charge per second

Armadon needs that 40% reduction on ALL SIDES. Make it happen already.

He should have 90% damage reduction on his back against bullets and only bullets, as a balancing tradeoff, arrows can do 5% more damage.

increase his str gain from +2,2 str per lvl to sth like 2,6 str per lvl.
2,2 str per lvl for a melee str hero is a bit low espeacially for one who is supposed to take a lot of damage.
Just remove the cd on spine burst
That would make it fun
I suggest to put a staff of the master effect that decreases the cd of spines depending on how many units he hit.

The OP should more properly identify what the problem is. Is it any or all of the following?
(A) not enough damage mitigation
(B) too difficult to show your back in competitive play or bait them with your back
(C) the "back" of Armadon is too small and the front requires some mitigation too
(D) difficult to initiate with Armadon as a tank in competitive play
(E) quill spray becomes irrelevant in the late game
(F) does Armordillo work when stunned or disabled? Can't remember if that got changed.
(G) Restless should increase his damage mitigation and quill spray... not his movement speed and auto-attack damage.
(H) Snot storm should go through magic immunity as it is a physical effect :P.. it's snot!
Otherwise, we'll just get random suggestions!

- make Q 600 range aura slow that stacks over time (1% slow every second caps at 28%)
- make W proc every 3 seconds when hero is in range (autocast)
