I wanted to swing by and clear up a few misconceptions that our previous recruitment thread seems to have created.
The minimum requirement to join the Blackfade Community is 1600, but that does not mean that all our teams will be in that mmr range. We do have 1800+ team rosters as well, and anyone interested in either forming their own or being added to an existing one is welcome to apply either here or in the other thread here.
Blackfade.org will accept just about anyone with a good attitude over 1600+, but they will not be all placed within the same roster. The 1800-1900 players will have their own separate team, as will the 1750-1800's, the 1650-1750's, etc.
This is posted in response to a large number of 1800+ players expressing concern that they didn't want to be placed in teams with huge mmr gaps; I just wanted to assure you that that is not the case.
We are still looking to pick up a few more members, whether you're 1900+ or you've just barely reached 1600. Please contact me if interested or follow the link above. If you have any questions, feel free to post them here.

If by forum channel you mean the new IRC for the forum, we are not using it at this time. We already have a large community on Skype, our own IRC at quakenet, our own messageboard and forums, the in game clan chat system and chat room, and our own Ventrilo server. We may add the forum IRC later on, but right now we already have enough methods of communication.
