About the part of bad players I agree too since some american people or from any part of the world know english and still don't hear or ignoring who have some better idea of play better than them. So that's not going to help making closed servers, also with all these change I lost my RCT Tester that's kinda unfair because I really wasted hours and hours helping S2 and know all I get is a blocked server... can't play with other friends out of Latin America... and I still here trying to help.Originally Posted by SpiritLancer

In response to the guy saying he's played a few other games and in none of them brazillians were labelled as trolls: I'm sorry, but I just don't have that experience. I've played an infinite amount of online mmo's (you name it, i've tried it) and I have yet to come across one decent brazillian (both in intellect, english, and in skill). Not only that, but I have yet to play a game where there aren't a mass of others like me who desperately don't want to come across as racists but have no other option when they've yet to come across anything but awful representatives of the entire land of South America...

To condemn a whole nation because of some idiots you met online (I mean, are online communities really what you are looking for when trying to find decent human beings?) speaks volumes by itself. How do you even know they were all Brazilian? Did you ask them? Did you treat them nicely or did you decide to insult each and every one after meeting the first few trolls?
There are trolls and idiots in every game, of every nation. Many times it is how you treat people just as much as how they treat you.
Having said all that, it's been over 3 months and no news regarding this?
I'm down for smoother game play with having a diff server set aside. Though, as much as playing with Brazilians brings my blood to a boil, I would still like people to have the option to play on whichever server they see fit.
I was going to download HoN once again, but then I saw this post. Kind of disheartening to be honest.

It would be great to have south american servers in matchmaking but these restrictions are retarded.
I know most of the people here hate brazilians.
I am brazilian and hell I'm not proud of it.
Most of them really suck, cause they are little fat kids, but there are also a lot of other SUCKING players who are not brazilians and it will never end.
These changes will result in a great loss of population, causing queues to be longer and longer.
Waiting for updates to be "translated" is one of saddest things to deal with while playing a game.
It looks like you are always behind the original game.
Well, if it really happens, I'll probably be one of the tons of south americans that will stop playing hon.. Sadly..

The difference between an American who sucks and a Brazillian who sucks is this is a majority english game. You can explain to, criticize, or befriend an english speaking player who sucks as another english speaker. If you try and tell a brazillian speaking player who is bad at this game that they are in fact bad at this game, it will be a neverending spam of gringo ajajaja and hauahuahauahuahauhau.
Actually, if you are talking about english as a first language that isn't true regarding HoN.

ffs i waste my money then, how its going to be possible to play just with Latin American players, that sucks... what's the point to block locations.. we are going to be unable to play with some friends cuz this. I think that its time to find another game .... hate when changes like this are taken without the player's opinion.... now international competition its over....

TBH I truly hate playing with people who only know 3 words in english and all of them are insults, but I'd rather just have the option to choose who i play with on my end. I don't mean having latin america as a selectable region in matchmaking tho (but that would have been a step in the right direction), I mean having the ability to click an option that will prevent me from ever being teamed up with someone from a given region.
Deals are already signed tho. I have to wonder tho, is the only place where a competitive team from SEA and a competitive team from NA are able to play against each other an official tournament?

ok i know a lot of U.S.A player hate brazilians and i dont know if that is the reason that you guys are doing that, but i'm from latin america and i have family in Europe, and friends in the U.S.A, you will ruin my game i can garantee you that i will not play this game anymore, not only me but a lot of other player... you guys can easily give us the choise of server... thumbs up on the region you want to play, like any other server... use your banlist on the player you think are bad, ignore him, kick him... but not making us able to play with any other people from U.S.A and Europe its a bad idea!

Edit: When can we expect this region lock? At the moment I got 2 brasilians on my team who troll, and wont concede, nor afk kick me. Their reason is to keep me there to "suffer" or "get a DC %"... I dont want to play with such immature kids..

wow, finally. any word on when this will happen? just remember s2 its only a very small fraction of people of the whole mass of players who are negatively commenting on this thread. in a game where communication is key, "no speka soz" scout auto picks just don't cut it. thanks guys. i was about to quit and now that i've seen this i think i'll stay around to see how the game is with strictly english speaking teammates.
I'm tired of people saying a lot of things about Brazilians, I'm Brazilian and what? I'm far from a pro players, I have bad days, but my last game was ridiculous, a guy (I wont say his nick) just said: "If he is noob, he is brazilian", while a Glacius from enemy team owned our mid FB and guess what? Glacius is Brazilian... I'm tired of people saying things like that without any sense, in the end we lost the game because of a team that wasnt a real team, and the guy just blamed the brazilians, totally pointless and agressive. From this day I really want to play just with Brazilian people, because of a lot of idiots that can't even talk, they just say: "you are wrong because you are brazilian", all the countries have bad players, personally I dont like when people begin to talk in another language that is not english, but I dont blame them for this. If I respect any other in this game I want respect too, without more or less.
I understand people from my country (Brazil, not Ireland) are really annoying at online gaming and etc. But it doesnt change the fact that what you're about to do is pure anti-globalization, almost a crime in the 21th century. Me and my friends have been playing this since Beta, and we didnt want to quit, but we are being forced to.
Congratulations S2, you will lose a lot of serious players and gain a lot of stupid flamers
