I like it well done mate
I think it's good, though keep the contrast on it's face; it's the most important area. Don't fade it out. The color suits it very nicely though!

This week I've added the background to the official artworks. Seems like there hopefully wont be a lot of black backgrounds on new artworks anymore!

The cropping of the Peking duck is a bit messy, especially around his hand, other than that, good work!
That is actually the original artwork how it looks like. I guess I could have reworked it a bit, you are right.
Make the shadows sharper where the characters touch the ground. That should really help to plant them down, right now they all seem to be floating a bit. Good work though, especially on the mech version of Artillery
Was more referring to that, as opposed to the actual hand, reading back I don't think I made that very clear
