Pharao and Savage mace?

If you get your tank items first, hotbl and shamans and then savage mace at would it be good?
noone can escape you then with all those mini stuns

In most situations for that farm I'd rather have my Lvl 3 Pbox instead. That's just me though. Or a barbed. Mostly the Pbox though.

I never get dps items for pharaoh. If you do so, this means either you're not doing what youre supposed to do in teamplay or your team are so bad that you need to carry the game for them. Pharaoh is mostly a tank initiator. With his ultimate and hellfire he can do enough dmg to kill enemies easily until higher lvl. But at this point, if you did youre job well you're team will do the rest. If you already have your staff, helm of the legion and shaman, then go for support items instead. You'll be more useful than if you go for dps items. So get a barrier idol and maybe abyssal or barbed armor.

After Boots, Chalice, Iron Shield, Ghosts and Shamans, barbed is my next pickup. Then probably staff, behe heart, and either frostfield or demonic. I'll build the demonic if I have to carry (team of bads) and then stick a mock in there too if I'm having to carry and have the money.

And once again: Ghost marchers on phara? What would you need that for? Dont think the hp from steams are a tad bit better? Or the extra armor from plated for that matter (If facing a heavy physical setup)?

Puzzlebox by far if you got the cash. Best item in game (my favorite item so I might have an unfair opinion). If you can micro the mana burn then don't bother. It's very easy with the right key bindings.

Long answer, yes, but only if you are going to win no matter what you do (and in that case TClaw is more flashy and fun!)

assuming you already have your 'tank items' (like you said steams, hotbl, shamans), arcana-> mock -> frostfield -> then topping it off with either spellshards, hellflower, or harkons is a nice little magic damage oriented build you can do, assuming you're doing well in a game.

the arcana serves as giving you the mana regen you need to sustain your spells and will act as a damage enhancer for your spells when upgrading it to whatever you choose (magic armor cut/cooldown reductions on all your skills and items w/ spellshards, nice attack speed for combining w/ mock on top of +20% damage taken+silence+perplex w/ hellflower, or big negative magic armor w/ harkons and all your skills+mock+frostfield).

of course if we're being serious here, puzzlebox is the obvious go-to choice. You don't even have to be good at using it to rape, just activate it whenever you cage someone and watch the screen.. (learning to use mana burn would be nice though)

but yeah, my default stomping build with pharaoh is above build, go steams+power supply+hotbl+vestments, then puzzlebox->arcana->mock->frostfield->spellshards/hellflower/harkons. it's pubstompy, but the build is actually quite efficient and should stomp hard most of the time.

Of course everything is always situational, and I'll usually consider barbed+behe heart+sotm/shrunken if I need to be tanky, or abyssal+daemonic(+plated greaves+hellflower/fws) if I want to boost puzzlebox effectiveness as well as my carry potential, or if my team has decent players I'll opt for more supportive pickups instead like barrier/tablet/astro, dare I mention sac stone for initiating/suicide purposes (gives your team extra heal/vision if you die, and still allows you to level in teamfight providing the teamfight stays in the same area)

tl;dr - savage bad, not practical on pharaoh anything listed above is much better

No, you don't have the attack speed to make good use of it.

You'd be better off getting a Brutalizer after steamboots and demonic breastplate. I could see that working pretty well.

But your purpose building items as Pharaoh should be to get defensive items and a sol's, that +/-armor aura is much more helpful than building damage items.
