Terrible performance after last patch?

Those experiencing FPS drops should type in the following command in the console (CTRL + F8 or CTRL + `) at the beginning of a game: setlibrarysfml.

I tried the reboot thing, if sound is off when I start HoN I have no lag in game, if I turn sound on during a game the lag does not come back so this is how I do be able to play.

Doesn't necessarily work for me since nothing changed last time i did it. Now i have to dc and reconnect every time for each game. please fix soon!!

This works for me. I changed resolution from 1920x1080 to 1680 x 1050, cause otherwise i could not open console via fn+ctrl+F8 Takes about 20 seconds to reload and in 1 out of 5 games i get dc'ed. Then everything works fine, but i have to go trough it every game.

I use a mid 2011 i5 with Lion 10.7.3

S2, any updates on when we are getting a fix for the lag? I don't mind the sound issues but i do mind having to reconnect every game in order to play normally

A noticed a much quicker solution, that worked for me, was to simply open up the console (fn+ctrl+F8) and just type "reconnect".
This will disconnect and reconnect you to the server. Works like a charm everytime, and are quicker then setlibrarysfml.
Hate that my master volume and brightness are being set to default values though, and I have to change it to my personal preferences.

i think there's a command like "-setsave" or just "setsave" that you put before the command and it'll keep it everytime you restart hon (i did it to keep the old shop but i can't remember what it was)

After the latest patch my performance have dropped from pretty good to terrible. My framerate is about 15fps with all the settings on low.
I've tried to reinstall HoN, tweak my settings and restarting my computer, but nothing works.

I could not see any other threads about this, so don't know if it's just my computer that's acting up or if it's a real problem.

Even thou i can't play HON because i have the same system that you use but apparently you can play the game ! And i can't play it because S2 told me my computer have a sound problem that won't let the game run naturally :\ . I checked the game just now to see if they fixed in which they didn't, my frame rate dropped soo bad to the lvl of being unplayable at all ! Old Problem + New problem = Bad technical support team.

my friend got the same problem on Windows machine. Hon was running smooth for nearly 1 year and now BAM! tried everything except reinstalling windows... even calling internet provider...

I can't even move my character past the fountain. The game crashes every single time. Never had this issue before.
