    Vindi's Q and E

    I'm not very satisfied with Vindi's remake. Now, both his Q and E work more as self buffs since the effects on the enemy are so insignificant. (Q is a weak nuke with negligible int steal, E only silences on attack.)

    My suggestions for a new Q and E:

    Q - An aoe curse. If a target casts a spell while still cursed they will be silenced, for an extended amount of time. Should also have an active effect on cast - nuke/silence/manadrain?

    E - A passive aura that provides negative mana regen to enemies in range. Vindicator gains temporary charges as +int for the amount of mana that's been drained in the last 5 seconds. Vary aura strength by range/distance to Vindi/%mana/number of enemies caught in aura?

    As always, duration/aoe/values/scaling are variable according to balance.

    The meta:

    His passive pressures enemies to cast spells before their mana is wasted, but he would have a proactive/counter silence skill for when they do cast, in addition to the silence ultimate.

    His role as team battle silence cc would be returned to him as an active skill.

    His passive also brings back his pressure-enemies-to-waste-spells mechanic, but with an aura more like SR's health drain instead of a mana drain spell with limited effectiveness.

    I'm against it, since i think the remade Vindi is friggin awesome.

    Why do you feel that the silence-after-cast curse is too powerful? I was comparing it to Defiler's aoe silence when thinking about it.

    Instead of normal silencing, this delayed silence still allows one spell through. It only prevents either a second chain spell or the full duration of a channeling spell.

    I suggested the additional active effect is because I thought it was a bit weak, even.

    Glad to hear your receptions on my E. I'm not sure how to balance it though - if it's too strong, it'll be maxed early and laning against Vindi would be pretty supid. If it's too weak, then a little bit of mana drain won't make much of a difference.

    Maybe the amount of mana drained could be dynamic? Like, it drains faster when an effected hero is silenced?
