Casts as VOD's, YT,Livestreaming and your role in growing Hon a litte bit more

Hello Community,

As maybe little of you know, I along with 2 of my friends have started casting scrims every day. It started all with the Idea of bringing good,fun and most important content you can learn from and enjoy to the daily streamfollower.

I started this last Monday and we have already casted over 30 matches in 10 days. Our record was 466 viewers during a Fntc vs Port scrim (i think it was port) which amazed us since we are no professionals at all. Shoutout here to H4nn1 and NoVa for sending people our way on 2 of the casts.

Since the gaming world is obviously in different time zones people can not always watch Honcast or us or any other casting team. During the decerto tournament and days after we repeatidly got questions concerning VOD's.

I also have my own Youtube channel, which is pretty much empty and only has my first ever cast with soundissues and one of my big Ds prayz on it. I want to get my Youtube channel finally started and that with Shoutcast VOD's. I am also currently writing on a script for a weekly show, but that is still in development. Planning to bring in multiple opinions not just from S2 or comp players, but also from organisations and the constructive Hon community, more of that will come in the future.

So, back to your part now. Which teams would you like to see on VOD? Should I just upload every Shoutcast we make? Or do you only want so see Tournaments? Only important tournament games?


I would like some feedback of yours, concerning what you would like to see. What is it for you, that Hon misses at the moment. And no, I dont mean DOLLARZ and Hon Tour, I mean services in the form of Youtube Videos and Livestreaming, which you would like to have.

Note that the livestream and the Youtube channel are still all non-profit-making at the moment. If we get the Youtube-channel partnered, which needs 5000 Subcribers for Curse and get our Stream partnered, which hopefully happens soon, we want to use money generated from these two services, and organize CASH-Tournaments. Of course the paste and size will be small, but as these things grow, so will the Prize money.
Ofcourse we want to give back to those who support us at first. Meaning people who Subscribe to the Youtube channel, follow the stream and most importantly: give elaborated feedback on how to improve.
This will happen in forms of promotion and giveaways.

You have to keep in mind, that we are not doing this for a living, infact at the moment we dont earn a penny from it. This is free time we spend to make our first steps into E-sports. Besides the 40 + Hours of streaming per week, I write down and gather Ideas for the weekly show, organise with Tournaments Admins, collect feedback use it and improve. I hope to make bigger steps in the next month ake everything look more professional and ofcourse be more professional.

I agree, the matches I would like to see is tournaments and entertaining scrims (new picks/big plays/close games/top tier competitive teams). Which means don't put up team nobody vs team nobody stomps except if they are very entertaining .

Ok, so it is only VERY entertaining shoutcasts and tournament matches. Wanna cast something but it seems like nobody is scrimming today, I hope to have more luck tomorrow.

You are more than welcome to do a replay cast of TiG vs dCto for the semi-final match for the Shokra Gaming HoN Nostalgia Tourny. That happened yesterday. You should be able to find it in their games from yesterday. They were supposedly some good matches. Of course, they can only use heroes from Beta HoN so the lineups alone make the matches pretty interesting.

I was at work when they played and wasn't able to cover.

thanks for the tip! will write down the Match ids and cast them tomorrow first thing when i come home just casted tig vs bate but i was solo and sometimes the mic *****ed, want to put out content but not shitty so ill wait for tomorrow. Im going to record the 2v2 on Sunday as well and the tournament matches happening every weekend.

When you're casting you should switch between the GPMS/EPM (that's experience per minute right lol?)/Player names + k/d/a etc. You usually always leave it on the second tab when you should be using all of them.
