Hello
As much as I've tried to search and find anything comparable to my issue I'm experiencing I cannot seem to find anything simular, therefor I've decided to post on my own.
Current spec:
Intel i7 960 @ 4.1GHz
GTX 580 1,5GB x 2 (SLI)
12 GB RAM
SSD Force GT3 Series 120GB
ASUS SABERTOOTH X58 Motherboard
I'm running HoN perfectly fine by no means, however during intense combats my FPS seems to drop to 30-60ish and it's very annoying. Sometimes I get 1 second freezes too. I usually run with host_drawfps 1 to get a clue on how my fps is doing. An example of a strange issue is whenever i pop let's say a manapotion on my character my fps drops from 125FPS to 90FPS. Is the game just so badly coded that any extensive effects just soaks FPS that easy?
I have no clue if the game supports SLI or not. I've tried playing with or without it and there's basically no impact on my FPS.
Running BF3 on ULTRA with 80-120FPS easy and other heavy games for that matter.
I've tried to uninstall and clear everything that is related to HoN plenty of times without any difference. Even tried to run the game with no Anti-Aliasing or filtering. Open GL is even worse then DirectX but that's quite obvious. I've tried turning Rim Lighting/Refractions/Reflections/Post Processing etc off too and even tried to run everything on Medium settings but there's basically no difference during intense teamfights 5v5.
Any input on this?
Dear customer,
upload a console.log when this happens to Console Log Upload Tool and post the link here.
I would also advice you to go through this article in the wiki if you haven't already done so and post your results here.

HoN does not support SLI, but there are ways to make the game work better with SLI that will improve the impact of your FPS.
Post Processing: OFF
Vsync: ON
Exclusive Mode: On

I've tried it out and honestly can't say there's any difference. The game just feels more delayed. As of mouseinput etc. This is with Triple Buffering ofc.
What are you GPU/CPU temps during these FPS drops?
Also, what is your harddrive activity like during these fluctuations?

The console.log is reporting gtx 450s, not 580s. Make sure the graphics drivers are up to date.
