Overrated: JavaDay. Not sure why some stream followers like him. I've only seen him twice, and both times all he did was complain the entire game.

First time - He was on Moon's stream as Glacius. Couldn't ward/support for beans. Kept whining at Tralf and Moon about "I only play carry."

Second time - On SkCardinal's stream. He went top lane as Legion as Mag with a Valk. initiated on an opponent, then cried out "Valk, why didn't you get Arrow?!" and proceeded to blame SkCardinal for losing the game because he wouldn't gank top for them.

I know he's not a big name, but he's who I think of for overratedness on HoN.

Underrated - Brized, Jah, WTF.

Overrated: WAY too many to list 'em all. I'd go with H4nn1.
Underrated: Again quite a lot - I'd go with N0tail.

I dont understand all the hate against moonmeander. Yes, his fanboys are quite annoying - but u gotta keep ur facts straight...he is infact a strng player, you can't deny it. I won't call Meander overrated just because his fanbase is louder than anyone else's.

he beat him twice mid, as well as plenty of other competitive level players. and i never said he was master level but he is good even as a competitive player if your too biased to see it w/e

No one is taking this seriously. People are being way too subjective for a subjective topic. To help you guys out, I feel I should reference this thread to get a good baseline on how to rate someone as being overrated or underrated.

Just by going off of the Honcast Community Awards for 2k11 that poll individual players starting from Breakout Player of the Year to Most Valuable Player, the only people that qualify to be called overrated are the ones that have a significant amount of votes but in YOUR opinion, do not match up to that person's popularity. Likewise, the only people that should be considered underrated are the ones who have a minimal amount of votes that in YOUR opinion are not getting as much shine as you feel they deserve. No one should be trying to guesstimate how much the community likes a person.

Just to serve as an example, Moon, being a popular pick for being considered overrated, wasn't even considered for the polls at all. If he wasn't memorable enough to make the list aside from being the best streamer, there's no point in saying he's considered overrated or underrated. So people should just use the Honcast Community Awards as a reference and pick who's overrated/underrated off of that. Not off of what you perceive to think is considered popular by people in who they consider to be skilled.

That's mostly due to him entering the scene at December for 2 matches. He wouldn't have made top carry anyway, but he would have at least been considered into the poll.

People having opinions about a subjective topic? Quick, I must tell them they are wrong.

To me, if you hear just good things about a player and read overall that he's THAT GREAT KID, but when you see him, he does medicore and gets carried, then yes, in your eyes, by your opinion, he is overrated. If there is a guy who's quiet in the forums, does good in games overall, but doesn't have that "HERE I AM"-attitude, he's probably an underrated players.
