    Gold Edition Avatar Issue

I am not one to make a big fuss or complain a lot, especially since I'm an avid Heroes of Newerth player, but the re-release of one of the Gold Edition avatars feels unacceptable.

    Note:
    1. I feel that you currently have the best "MOBA" in the industry, and plan on playing it until I find a superior one.
    2. I have, and am willing to spend real money on exclusive items, especially the Gold Collection Avatars.

I have to be honest here:

I have ridiculed, taunted and laughed at all my friends, family and coworkers (a good many Industry QA Employees), to no end for playing LoL or DotA2 as I felt it was a weaker game, both graphically and competitively. As a hardcore player, I loved the experience you created in HoN and have tried to support the company as much as possible; that being said...

After everything you guys have been through; after all the hardships and complications that you have faced; after all the flaming and criticism you endured...

You decide to toy with your most profitable (Whale) user-base by going back on a promise, making some of your longest and most supportive users, question your integrity.

I really hope that Heroes of Newerth outlives the current competition, as from what I have seen it is the better game, but I have a hard time seeing that come to fruition with the questionable decisions that are currently being made by your company.

Please do not make the any more of the "EXCLUSIVE ONE TIME ONLY AVATARS" available again, I bought them for exclusivity and expect them to stay that way.

I believe I speak for every gaming collector while saying: I would rather have an avatar that was sup-par yet exclusive, than one that it is perfect and widespread.

    /end rant

Do you really have such a possession complex that you'd rather have something crappy and rare than something good and common?

I mean come on, there's no way you care about flaunting your special avatars that much.
