I really dont give a flying **** about the avatars, but it is pretty discouraging to see s2 staff so blatantly lie to the community. Diva basicly said "we have done nothing wrong but we're sorry our fans are so stupid they dont understand our salestalk". Not that I'm surprised, especially by that guy.

Atleast just say "look when the limited avatars were released we were on another businuess plan, that has changed now and we need the money" and I'm sure people wouldnt have liked it but maybe could respect it.

Because enough people are seeing volunteers to be in some way affiliated with S2 and whatever they say is immediatly thrown back at S2 (*cough* MacroHard *cough*) when they do a, let's call it, dickmove.

That's because moderators and tech support are affiliated with S2 and their company, whether or not they themselves see it that way. S2 has appointed them to a position of power and thus, those people represent the company at the lowest level with everything they do and say. Some moderators seem to see it otherwise which is ludicrous. When it comes down to it, they're representing S2 every time they make an action on the forums.

How transparent is transparency when you change internal policy however you see fit? People who missed the initial releases of the limited edition alts have been told in the past BY S2 that they are out of luck because, being limited edition, if they couldn't purchase it during the sale, they won't under any circumstance get another chance. Pretty sad to see you guys ruin a great game with shitty business decisions and low respect for your patrons. That being said, I would personally like to see where us folks who paid a one time fee for the game actually rank in S2's business outlook these days because it seems to me that the only people getting treated well are the F2P'ers sinking massive amounts of money the game. I'd continue to rant but in all honesty like I said, I don't think I fare very well on S2's list as I've been around long enough to own the game with all the heroes(except EA's...)and have bared witness to countless players leaving the game and getting essentially muted on the forums for voicing any real distaste for the company's practices.

Unlike Leprechaun Blacksmith where it says "He will never been seen again".

So unless you can find an S2 Post saying that this particular avatar will not be available ever again, I don't think your arguement is valid, Though i do still stand 100% Behind my old post

Damned if you do, damned if you don't. They could've always just released a "sharky beardicus" avatar, which would be similar to gladius beardicus, and actually improve the ult on that one...

My real point is if you DON'T do this, the other half start yelling, complaining they didn't get a fair shot at buying the alt since they "DEFINITELY WOULD HAVE" with the better effects...

Exactly that. I also remember Chronos alt drama. When people purchased that specific alt, you guys released another alt slightly improved in graphic and ultimate animation. Which was disturbed to people that purchased it with in the first 4 day window or w/e got 2nd one for free. But as well as mentioned here there was no need to re release gold collection avatar which should of been unavailable since its 1st appearance in HoN to be sold again in reason that its been improved in graphics. For a simple reason if you keep your word of truth and saying that you will not under any circumstances will alter re release of past gold collection avatars.

Which seems to me that you can't keep your word about special unique, feat of strength avatars to be no longer obtainable. So while we should not be using such big words it all comes down to how much revenue can we make. Since its such delicate matter beyond those who saying we will rage quit bla bla bla and others saying we will quit if you don't bring other gold collection avatars for purchase we will quit as well. So bring all of them back for special event in package deal or w/e you guys can come up with. I am sure you have good creative team on how much money you can collect from these offerings. That way no one will quit and you will make everyone semi happy. But still you guys can't keep your word.

Many people who were interested in the alt, but did not get it because it had faults would feel gypped if it was later re-worked and they didn't have a chance to get it.

Honestly, it's not that big a deal.

I tried that once and it was completely ignored. I wrote out and gave examples and previous discussions to past occurrences and asked for S2 to further explain themselves, specifically xanderK, and the thread was ignored. Many people agreed and the thread received about 5-6 pages of people waiting for an answer but low and behold, an answer never came.

That's the kind of response people generally get to being nice and constructive to S2 which is why their community rarely tries to use it with them now. They've done it to themselves; they've brewed their own volatile community.

Are you referring to your post asking S2 to specify how they determine the pricing of avatars and new heroes? There is a difference between asking for clarification and asking for something they will never answer. If they had answered your question they would be setting themselves up for backlash in the future. Not to mention that their pricing was and probably still is in a state of change.

TLDR: You asked a question S2 was never going to answer and you are apparently still mad that they didn't answer it.
