Gladius Beardicus Weekend Re-Release!

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up as to why Gladius Beardicus is currently available for purchase. At S2 Games, we're constantly looking for ways to improve past content that we've released - as we've recently done with Flaming Deadwood, Deathmetal Rhapsody, Hydraxis, etc. Gladius was always high on our priority list to touch up because his ultimate effect was 1) not quite enough OOMPH for our liking and 2) bad for gameplay because it is significantly less noticeable than its Classic and Adventure counterparts.

We've taken those little shark fins and turned them into full-fledged swimming badass chompers. Because this enhances the avatar significantly, we wanted to give the people who chose not to purchase Gladius - perhaps due to the lackluster ultimate effect - the opportunity to add him to their collection now that he's 79.2% more awesome. Please note that he is available only for Gold Coins and at a significantly higher price at than he originally was, so our early adopters can enjoy the new enhancement while resting assured that they got the best deal!

Well, I think the fact that it's gold only and way more expensive eases the pain a bit.
I still don't like the fact that my "limited" buy is not so limited anymore.

These kind of things usually don't go well with the community.

If you would the the same to Lep. BS or Golden Pebbles you would get the same rage.

I agree with you, but the problem is, that gladius wont be the last alt you bring back for sale. if limited was said, they should be stay limited. that was the concept and the only reason i bought all limited edition avatars. dont make me lose faith in you. if you cheat me, i will stop buying limited alts...

What's to stop you from tweaking all the other gold collection avatars and using the same reasoning to rerelease them? I would like a few of the older avatars in the game to be limited at least.

I don't understand how you can resell Gold Collection Avatars again...It was made clear that they would be available for a limited time.

If you continue re-releasing the old Gold Collection avatars i don't see the loyal customers going crazy over any future ones you make. Limited is more exclusive and therefore rewards long time hon players (customers) so they can show something for their loyalty to the newcomers.

Also re-releasing Hydraxis? AN EA skin that customers choose to buy, almost exclusively for the alt avatar considering the hero will be out in a month!

I guarantee you if you keep the limited/EA avatars exclusive you will get much more interest/sales in your future creations.

Because nobody wants the symbols.
Most people don't care about the "exclusive symbol" they get with EA purschase either.

I hope this is a one-time-only thing.

I have him already, and i dont really care about re-releasing him again. BUT PLEASE, i am missing only 4 skins for full collection (), please, bring them back for sale. Even for 1000g coins, i will still buy it .

You should rename the gold collection to "Not so limited time".

You should also sell them for free.

so many things said and then changed, can you keep to anything?

hell even the emperor pharoah that staff members told be they would be putting the symbol in soon, lied and now arnt doing it, and its my fault i didnt screenshot the chat T__T but maybe theres hope of still getting in amongst all the bullshit that comes from S2 about what will and wont be done.

just take the money and dont pretend to actually care, i would feel better with that option.

Okay so I'm happy with this patch, i liked the draconis skin change and i just bought it because ive wanted the hero but didnt feel it was worth it due to the bad EA alt.

However releasing a limited edition skin has long been said impossible by S2, and now it happens due to a small change in one of his abilities?

I dont think thats fair, I've been torturing myself for missing out on the valk limited forever and now my limited gladiator skin becomes available? Not sure if this was a great idea S2 unless youre planning on re-releasing all other ones aswell, which im pretty sure you wont.
