    Gunblade is such a bore. Epic copy and paste on skills, cliche hero. Essentially has same combo as Parasite.

    There are a few suggestion

    1. Walking animation, it is very lame and boring now

    2. First skill don't need that aim mark as it is not a vector skill

    3. Second skill, needs to be a more creative shield skill, for example, a higher level of skill make more blades floating, each blade block only a attack from a direction

    4. Third skill, auto switch to a melee attack in close range is great, adding bashing/ministun to the melee attack is even better, a toggle would not be good in this case, then it will require skills on positioning and microing to get the bash.

    5, Ult, as a matter of fact, the skill now is not cool, i suggest to add a blade dance as a second part of the skill, or make the first skill having a melee version in close range as a blade dance then it gives a very great combo animation

    HawkeyeBR, judging by your "hero concept suggestions" you have no room to criticize S2 or any of their hero releases. There's more synergy on the New York Knicks than in any of your hero concepts.

    If you have any critic, your post will be welcome on the respective hero and I'll be glad to see it, but I can guarantee that I tried to avoid doing what S2 is doing with the new heroes as much as I can and trying to make something actualy different, funny and viable.

    What is different between stuns and shields? Stuns are more accepted (/are an older, more established mechanic), and thus people don't mind when two heroes in a row have stuns?

    Soundwizard said in his twitter that most if not all of the hero sounds in spotlight is temporary place holders. He will sound much different once he comes out. It's like those snippets of electrician shields that pops up now and then in the spotlight.

    Though I wonder why can't they get the animation and the sound finalised before the spotlight... It just paints a bad image as we can see here.

    because the games featured in spotlight happened a long time before they decided to release that hero

    objectively speaking though, from some random internet user's point of view, this one is not good as the other ones.

    as much as i sympathise with what they had to work with, most people just want results.

    hopefully this is just a small blip in what is a series of awesome spotlights.

    This hero really is disappointing. The moveset is ok, but the character design looks like a copy paste of Witch Slayer with Rorschach's face. And he doesn't even use his "blades".

    Anyways, with the Harpoon shot being his ult and all, seems like it would've been more logical to design the character around that. Make his graphic like Captain Nemo or something.

    I'm guessing DotA was massively creative when they introduced successive heroes that all dealt damage with their abilities? Or perhaps when DotA/HoN/LoL introduced two heroes in a row that had a stun?
    Yoo man, do you feel the difference between Engima/Sven/Ske/Vengeful spirit stun abilities in dota(Yeah all stun targeted skills)? Shield is just the lamest and pathetic skill in HoN. Why? It saves the player and pissed off the ganker

    I think the concept is cool and that his skills have synergy. The synergy isn't as forced as gravekeeper's but isn't as versatile as Valkyrie's.

    Basically, the character relies on lethal range for dps. Since most agility heroes are squishy, thats what the shield is for. Since many characters can run away if GB is in close range, thats what the slow is for. And since gosu damage is dealt at close range, thats what the ulti is for.

    The skill set doesn't have much utility, save for the shield, but i find the character design to be unique.
