Thread: HoN Hero Spotlight: Gunblade
im not liking the demonic shield....it doesnt even fit the hero....i really dont get where it fits in
It really looks like the blade is actually blocking the barrel of the gun, which bugs me. He also smacks of a LoL hero.

Honestly S2... Just start taking more time to make the heroes. Don't give us a hero every 2 weeks. Make it one a month. SBT will have a chance to run through the hero, tell you whats good and whats bad. It'll also give you more time to work on the model of the hero.
Ok... So more people voted it "down" than people actually watched the spotlight...
I personally really liked the spotlight, the music was really good and it was very informative. The only thing it missed was numbers but no spotlight has numbers.

I feel like this hero is just a ranged nomad.
not skillwise
but item wise.
Ghost marchers, helm, shroud, shieldbreaker, bulwark.
but then again when I think about it. A lot of heroes can make these items and instapwn someone. I just see it coming that gunblade will be a oneshot dude just like nomad. none the less, gonna buy him.

As many have stated this hero seems uninspired with abilities that come across as recycled from other heroes. IMO S2 has a great streak of qualities heroes, I am inclined to believe this is an abbreviation opposed to the beginning of a bad trend. Regardless, hopefully sales reflect the quality and this week S2 see's the difference from a great original concept (Kinesis) to a pretty poor one (Gunblade).
As for the spotlight videos, this is defiantly another low point. Spotlight videos/the horsemen videos seem to have lost a bit of steam and creativity lately. Again, I am willing to give it a month or two and see if S2 returns to form before I become concerned.
The important thing is for the consumer to express our opinions and hopefully S2 responds with stronger quality control.

Eh I think a more agility based build will be stronger on him seeing as he has a shield that is based off of agility. Therefore getting agility on him will not only give him attack speed, damage, and armor but also a good chunk of "health".

What is with that baby taunt segment? That looks like something I'd have done when I was 10, and then deleted it out of shame 3 years later.
looks like Gunblade is going to have a Warhammer 40k spacemarine themed EA skin...
This spotlight was poorly made, pathetic to say the least.
Good thing about playing with friends: you will never get kicked when picking Night Hound as Orange or Brown.
I'll post it again and again.
Smyger was on break this time, so Viole had to work with some random volunteers who just did this for the first time, that in turn encountered their own problems.
Thus the quality of this Spotlight isn't of the usual epic one.
Please note that Smyger and RuthlessVoid took a break this spotlight for personal reasons. I had to do with a make-shift crew of people I've never worked with. We tried some new things and added a bit more flair to the scenes. Let me know how you all liked it, what suggestions you have, what you think could be improved, and anything else!
Also, let Cami and Murray know how well they did in such a tight squeeze
Hero named Gunblade. Only uses guns. The gods of design look favorably upon this company.

This hero looks terrible.
I'm sorry, but I see absolutely no redeeming features in his design.
This is the kind of hero design you should be scrapping, S2.

Thou shalt correct thyself as a trollface icon does nothing more than advertise your wannabeeness... a true troll needs no disclaimer in the form of a face, his bridge speaks for him.
