What time is the check-in in CEST? Getting kind of confused and that picture you linked didn't help too much for me XD, according to my googling it's 20:00 CEST? I just want to make sure I don't miss the time!

Hello. I just need to fix team member dj_pwn3's name. His account is djpwn3, without the _. thank you.
Hey haddon, can you add "Reverse" to "The Muffin Kingdom" Ringer 1? Thanks![]()

gg. Came to have fun in this "<1750" tourney. First match up against a team with three 1800 players. "Hey we have one 1500 to lower our avg so we can stomp noobs here"
successful tournament is successful.
boohoo
All teams that had an average MMR above 1750 were thoroughly checked out. I think I watched over 8 matches of various teams that had an MMR above 1750. If I don't think your an 'amateur' team, you don't get in.
Over 35 applications were rejected out of the 160 becuase of smurfs/high ratings, if that makes you feel any better.
We're not arguing that the average MMR of the teams were higher, the problem is that higher rated ppl can carry vs these amateur teams, for example AngryTestie (not saying the players are as good at carrying games as he is, but you get the point).
And this is all because their teammates lower their average MMR so drastically, for example 4 1800 and 1 1500 equals 1740 average MMR...
I take that into account when checking games. If you've got 4 1800s and a really low guy that messes up your average, I decline your application. As I said earlier, this is for 'amateur players', which is (imo) players that can't compete at a competitive level. Everybody that is currently registered for this tournament, is an amateur player.
I'm sorry that you guys aren't happy with the way your games went - just the luck of the draw. Unfortunately we can't please everybody, especially when we're catering to over 400 people.
--Edit--
I'm sorry, just understood your point.
Yeah, comparing a 1700 to a 1400 is like night and day, but these tournaments are trying to include everybody that CAN'T make it to the competitive scene. Would receive a lot of grief over only allowing 1400-1600, for example, as 1700-1800 is definitely not competitive.

Yeah I understand that it's hard to cater to everyone when amateur is defined like that... Would be nice if we could have something like Playhem in SC2 where there's a daily tournament for each league. Guess HoN is still too small for such a thing...
First day of the tournament just ended - 160 applications, 30 rejected, 130 accepted, and out of those 130, we had 88 teams check in for the event (about 600-700 people)! The only complaints we received were regarding smurfs/higher ranked players, but as I like to remind you all, everybody who is currently in this event is checked out (they are ACCEPTED as amateur). Every account that signs up is statchecked, I spend a lot of time making sure these tournaments go smoothly, and are indeed for the community. Nothing like this has really been done before, so bear with me when you lose sometimes, ok? Happens to the best of us. Big thanks goes out to everybody that played <3 Make sure you sign up for our next tournaments at clanmilk.com/tournaments
As a reminder, the finals and semi finals of the 5v5 tournament begins at 1 PM EST - no times were changed, everything is normal. Gl to everybody participating!
I can just say one thing, great tournament! We will definitely be back for next month![]()
Le feedback: Great Tournament - and well-mannered, good Admins.
There were a little bit of confusion regarding Genjuro being allowed etc. - Even though technically according to the rules, It is not. I'd like to see admins in the future just following the rules to 100%, rather than create confusion by contradicting them - by saying for example "If you can buy it, It is allowed".
Still at this moment, I'm not entirely sure whether or not it was allowed.
Other than that, I saw absolutely no problems as far as execution went - and despite the slight confusion, It ended up working out just fine. So, I'm happy with how things went.
The last thing I'd like to say is that in my opinion, Hellflower should be regarded as a "CC" item since It's so incredibly strong. I know it doesnt "stun" a target in the same way as Kuldra/Stormspirit does, but in most situations where you want to pick up some kind of CC, all these three items are valid options - they differ slightly, but they're all the kind of item that easily gets out of hand if many are built.
That said, what the hell do I knowThank you for this great Tournament!
